Great, delicious turkey, most of my family was there, etc. I even got a Sill Plain fig and The Idolm@ster, now I know why Miura dropped Berserk for a while.

Went and saw Sherlock Holmes, turned out to be better than I expected.

I bought a laptop for my father because he likes strategy games and is away from home most of the time and complains about being bored.

The problem is that the laptop I bought for him is absolutely horrible, and I only realized this today because it won't run any of the games he likes.

I feel like shit because of this. I've spent my entire day trying to get it to work.

A netbook. Running XP.

Trying to get it to run Alpha Centauri, doesn't work because AC hates XP. Trying to get it to run Civ 3, for some reason, doesn't want to start. Managed to get it to run Civ 4, but it's stuck at a shitty resolution and I can't adjust it. Tried to get it to run EU3, graphics problem related to the shaders.

I've still got a bunch of games left to try, but the Civ games are his favorite. If I can't get those to run properly, I feel like I've given him a worthless present, seeing as how he already has a laptop for work (that he can't install anything on).

Have you tried everything? Such as going into properties and running as admin, etc... If that doesn't work try and run a game that isn't any of the above. IF that doesn't work try doing something that's easy like watching the visualization on WMP, winamp, etc... and see if it works correctly. If that doesn't I suggest taking it back and asking for your money back because it's fucking broken.

For all of these years, I've always been the only person she wasn't scared of, and she was always here for me when I needed someone. For 12 years, I've taken care of her and loved her. BEST CHRISTMAS EVER.

I HAVE NO REGRETS SERIOUSLY. Many things happened, and I'm contented.

Well to start off, me and my family went to church. My bro and mom told me a Merry Christmas, I didn't give them a smile in return because I'm cool and with no emotion in reality. I had a chitchat with my cousin from the other 'world', and I had a good time with him, I miss my old gang. Yes, I have friends. Suck it. I spent 'til 7am on 4chan, went back to sleep, and woke up around 2pm, and browse again. Then we marathon some last episode of the current anime, and most of em had a great ending. I joined the waifu and his anon thread, took a pic, and voila! Thank god I found my cam.
I'll eat my favorite food tonight later.

tl;dr This Christwas was fucking the best. I enjoyed it. Hoping my future would be bright next year. wwww.
