What's the general consensus of her new model?
Any compliments or critiques? Also what are the chances that this is temporary? Kson had a quick model whipped up before updating it down the road. Maybe she just needs more money since quality models are so expensive.

Model is entirely adequate for the conditions it was made under, and the design alone is enough. Biggest worry I had when she first revealed the legs and tail was that the shading looked really flat, but that doesn’t look like a problem for the upper half. Head is a little big, but that is a nitpick. Rigging can be improved any time. The bigger deal is that I hope the model is a herald of a more consistent stream schedule.

I can't say much about Kson's situation because I don't know it, but I imagine Mikeneko's is different considering she was gifted this.
That being said, I was mildly anxious when I heard it was a gift, but it's surpassed my expectations by a long shot. I thought her current avatar was cute but I feel like it didn't capture the full Mikeneko, so seeing the chuuni aesthetic oozing with character made me really happy. She can be creepy, cute, edgy or chuuni with the same design. It really really feels like a proper vtuber setup again and it makes me happy.
Obviously, I can nitpick a few things here and there. Some of the tracking could be better or the eyes are a little bit too far apart, but I'm still really happy.

I'd usually argue that having a slow thread isn't that much of a problem, the problem is that you're stuck making it in /vt/. All the time that should be quiet time that happens in slow threads will instead be replaced with retardation. It's almost like negative noise.

All around you are strangers just wishing to go about their day. The dense Tokyo city is highly populated and so everyone surrounding you is more than happy to make it abundantly clear that your habit is not welcome. People all around you want to go either forwards or backwards, but certainly not straight into your back. In fact, you should be joining them. It’s your second job interview at one of the largest companies in the world; as a fresh Todai graduate, it would mean the world to you to be able to start with them. But despite all the pushing and shoving indicating that you ought to be moving with the flow, you can’t take your mind off of this catgirl. In fact, you’re seeing her right now. She’s right there in that back alley. As though guided by an invisible hand, you go against the stream of people, sideways into the dark place. Her eyes glow in the dark. The hairs on your arms stand up as you feel a sudden chill.
A part of you is screaming into the void. It’s fighting the invisible hand. This seems wrong, dangerous – and assuredly more real than any of your daydreams ever have. You should run. You wish somebody would notice and help you, at least ask if you’re alright. But nobody comes. It’s just you and the captivating catgirl. All that separates you from her is a few meters. Upon closer inspection, her legs seem so fragile that they might break if you handled her roughly. Does she eat enough? Jirai kei was never your thing, but even you have to admit that her frills, ribbons and braids are all done in excellent taste. If only there was some more light to see it all in greater detail.

Just as endorphins and oxytocin flood every cell of your body, the sharpest pain you’ve ever felt stings in your throat area. Did she actually bite you? Lasagna seems off the table as a guess for the source of the splatter for now. You instinctively want to pull away even with your brain cooperating for once, but her figure – frail though it may appear – is quite strong. You’re being held in place with no escape. You realize that she’s genuinely sucking your blood. It burns. It stings. You still feel her warmth all over. It feels good. The realization that she might extract too much blood is starting to hit as you start feeling lightheaded. You worry if your parents would be okay that you not have accomplished anything with your education, but you’re too elated by this sensation to truly care. The duality of pain and pleasure… those are the last moments. Your consciousness fades.
