Pretty interesting video, it's obvious they put a lot of effort into it since they have progress updates from like a year ago on their channel and the ZUN style for such a long animation is pretty rare especially for Western.

Maybe I'm just old and bitter but the constant memes every 5 seconds, randomly placed for no reason, made it really hard to watch the whole thing especially for something that seemed to have taken so long to make. I think it might have been genuinely interesting if they at least went for a more serious approach.

Man the animation is truly endearingly bad. I don't hate it but it is remarkably amateurish, the humor is mostly ok I just wish there were somewhat less throw it at the walls memes for more focused memes/jokes to make them kand better.
And I also wish this was less noisy, there's too many noise effects yo give the audience time to then prepare for the next joke. Right now its ok but its much like a macaroni and glue craft without much cohesion

It's respectable. The constant memes are a little annoying, but you can tell it was made with passion. The animated danmaku fight was cool, and I'm surprised they actually took the time to animate it instead of having it be cut out. It's a cute passion project. The sound effects were kind of excessive, and like I said it's very meme-y, but it's cute. Not perfect, but it was made with love. Rumia's voice kinda sucked though.

The animation needs improvement, and largely draws from meme culture which isn't new by any means.
I watched without audio but honestly anyone hating on it is likely a bitter faggot.
It's not just memes, there's a bunch of stuff there like Sonic's Iconic victory poses or even menu illustrations and so on.
It's an amalgamation of many pop culture references. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the animation which has room to improve.

That's the issue I have with many things made in the west. To me, most memes are just unfunny jokes, and hearing them over and over again doesn't help.
Not to mention that they fall out of fashion very quickly, so the video will be outdated soon.
