Momiji tea with my beloved Momiji! Tea is Japanese loose leaf black tea called Setoya Momiji. Japan isn’t really known for black tea but even before knowing about Touhou the name intrigued me because the idea of maple tea sounded great. Tastes like hints of vegetables, malt, honey, and a hint of stone fruit and maple. Brewing the leaves sometimes smells like maple leaves. I am trying to find ways of taking pictures of Momiji without getting her dirty, and without getting weird looks (im not a confident person). I’m basically a pseudo-NEET hermit so I don’t get out very much (except for very part time work) anyways so I’ve been looking for places around the house to take photos. Seeing her and getting to hold her definitely makes me happy.

I posted about that Tsukasa that I found on Aliexpress a couple of threads ago, I ended up purchasing her that day as I really like Tsukasa as a character. I’m also a major sucker for fox/wolf girls. If you really like her anon, I’d get her because it may be years, if ever that GIFT makes official fumos of the UM characters. I’m currently trying to get my first 1cc, in MoF, and I’ve grown attached to the characters from that game. As time goes on I’d like to get some fumos of my favorite characters from that game (I already have my favorite, Momiji) namely Kanako, Minoriko, Aya and Sanae. I think I might look around for a good quality Kanako custom fumo, with Aliexpress being the first place I’ll look because of the price in comparison to how much western custom fumo makers charge. The Tsukasa fumo apparently ships out in June, so it’ll probably be by July that if you order one it gets to you, knowing slow Chinese shipping and customs depending on where you live.

That might not be for a while. Most people buying fumos, even if they've never played the actual touhou games are as the anon below you said, more autistic than your average person. If it really is just a short term trend it would have ended a while ago, but this scalping issue is multiple years ongoing and the interest in fumos seems to have only increased despite the stupidly high prices. The solution is obvious, just increase supply to match demand and limit buying of each fumo to 1 fumo per type (1 Reimu, 1 Yukari, etc). I don't use tiktok so I don't know if fumos memes are big there or whatever, but I've heard they got big on YouTube and Twitter. As for my priorities, Ran, Sanae, then Kasen or Reimu. One day I might have a custom Kanako commissioned and maybe a Minoriko too.

I started playing the touhou games 2 months ago, I'm trying to 1cc my first game on normal on MoF. I'm terrible so that will take a while, but I do like the games. Yeah they probably won't fix supply mainly because they either don't want them to be "too" mass produced in line with ZUN's idea, or because they just don't want to maybe. Looking at the gift catalogue at https://www.gift-gift.jp/nui/toho.html?page=3 I noticed that fumo 16 (yukari v1) is the last one to have angeltype listed as designers and first came out on november 2010, while fumo 17 (kaguya) doesn't have them listed and came out on august 2011.

Update for /fumo/ anons. The Tsukasa on Aliexpress is not the same design as it is in the pictures. The makers have a completely different design and while its cute, it is NOT the same as the one they show in pictures. The original Tsukasa(s) were made by a Chinese guy on taobao, a Chinese website sort of like eBay. The problem is he made them in a small quantity and they are currently out of stock, it is unknown if he will ever make anymore. He has set the price to around $1,500 USD as a way of showing "out of stock". If I read the translation correctly, he may restock them in June, but they will be apparently be only for sale for "scheduled users" using a small shop number code which can be found on the item's listing page. I'm not sure if that means you have to preorder them, but I will try and get the Tsukasa because I love that design. I've seen the other design and while not horrible the quality does not match up, it's an altogether different design. Just a warning and heads up for anons who bought or have thought about buying the Aliexpress Tsukasa, we were duped. You can cancel your order on Aliexpress if you want, as for me I like Tsukasa enough to keep this one when it ships.
