Mahoutsukai no Yoru was originally the name of the first novel (I think) Nasu published. It was about Aoko on her way to become a magus.
As I said before, you can check on the character material, and you'll see that the pages with schoolgirl-Aoko, Touko and Alice all have "Mahotsukai no Yoru" as source.
Now, I find it difficult to imagine they would use the same name for something completely different and with different characters.

青崎青子 Aoko Aozaki: A typical high school teenager girl of the present day. The only thing different is that she is a descendant of a mage’s family.
久遠寺有珠 Alice Kuonji: A traditional type of mage who lives at a classic western mansion. School mate of Aoko.
青崎橙子 Tohko Aozaki: Older sister of Aoko who is supposedly in a bad relationship with her.
静希草十郎　Soujyurou Shizuki: A guy who just moved out to an urban city from the country side.

The story takes place when Aoko was in high school. She is accidently witnessed by a guy called Soujyurou when she was using her magic. In this world, mages need to keep their art as a secret from society. The thing is, Soujyurou just came out of the country side and everything in the urban city was new to him. So he thinks her magic was normal for the people living in the city. But persuaded by Alice, Aoko decides to kill Soujyurou… and somehow ends up living together at Alice’s mansion!

It hasn’t been said what kind of format this release is going to be, but the first set of information will be released on the TYPE-MOON Ace magazine and TECH GIAN June issue releasing on April 21st.
