Thinking about it objectively, Mahoyo is one of the easier chuuni VNs to translate. There's no autistic babbling of obscure kanji, or a shitload of characters that speak in archaic ways. I can't think of any clever kanji wordplays off the top of my head (e.g. 戦真館 vs 千信館). Everyone speaks pretty much normally. The main thing would be to not fuck up the prose basically. So EOPs have a decent hope of getting a solid translation. It mainly just depends on who the team is.

Was the 2010s really Type-Moon's way to save money for the releases this decade? They held back so hard after Mahoyo, playing safe with FGO cash even though F/Zero opened the floodgates harder than during 2006. They could provide the VNs quicker but nope nothing at all for nearly a decade. Maybe they are being careful although their reputation dipped quite a bit due to the VN drought. All for Nasu just to get the good amount of budget. IDK It might be true but I don't they are that smart. This might as well be just assumed laziness from the mushroom dude.

There is pretty clearly things there are meant to be explored further in sequels, also, the plan was always making 3 VNs. There is even an extra chapter that "happens after the events last summer" and one of the characters is said to have broken an arm helping another one during that situation. I think it's pretty clear the original novel hasn't been fully adapted.
But yea, despite all that it ends in a pretty neat place, that ironically fits its incompleteness as well

Yeah, but her back is too straight and her neck is way too bent, and she looks really stiff too. It's not terrible by any means but it does take getting used to. TM isn't a big company, they only have around 10-20 employees. They're still in their doujin mind set of doing things at their own pace and are in no need to rush things. I assume they're also conservative with their money and don't want to spend on expensive projects that could bite them in the ass. They also make lots of moves and supervision in all of the Fate manga, anime, games, merch, FGO, and other TM things in general. Nasu is also a busy guy that has to supervise FGO, the writing team their and write his own stuff like events.
