Reposted versions on Youtube are always far shittier quality because they're re-encoded. It's always best to go for the original, whether Nico or not. Equivalently, if there's a Nico repost of a Youtube video, it's better to watch the Youtube version.

Not only does Nico use High Profile H.264 and Youtube uses Baseline (for iPod/iPhone support), but when they supported passthrough, it created a huge number of vulnerabilities and loopholes. Well, I *am* lazy and stupid, but seriously. It's enough hassle keeping up with doujin game, music and comic releases and danbooru. I'm not ambitious enough to add pixiv and moontube to the list. I just wait and hope stuff gets added to youtube or a booru.

I saw that too. I had never seen the lazor light show one before, I had to click on that one at the end.
Also... only nine remixes? I'm sure there's more it's not that impressive. When there's a "nine 'nine bad apples'" well then you can start gasping.
