You can sometimes find gifts to buy so keep an eye out for those unless you have lots of money in which case go buy a bunch from souvenir vendors.
Love potion also works (don't just hand them to them) and they show up fairly regularly if you invest in the magic vendors.
You can also slowly just sleep your way to friendship with the aid of booze.

Once at Friend level you can craft and give tokens of friendship to reach higher levels.

Getting an NPC to soulmate is doable if you don't mind a bit of work.

If you want a specific mob, you're better off buying a rod of domination with small medals and going out looking for it, in the case of pieces, they spawn in fort nefia, and the Ancient Castle has all of them spawn on the lowest level.

Currently doing a no revive/prostitute playthrough on oomsest+nc and I'm having issues finding the right conditions to do the Red Blossom in Palmia quest.
I really need the secret treasure from that quest so I don't lose 1 karma each time I sell myself to a npc, but every time I visit the city there's always an adventurer inside. I don't want to be wary of a vengeful adventurer coming after me if I just carelessly nuke, but I don't see many other practical solutions.

Once I killed a high level guard sprite adventurer while at a low level by throwing cursed alcohol at him until he puked to death. Surprisingly, no you don't. Just go to Yowyn and interact with the town board, you should be given a drop down list of various fruits/vegetables you can trade with for respective seeds. Can amass quite a bit in Yowyn if you just steal the vegetables in the field and trade them in.

Theirs also trainers visiting your house, but that's in vanilla as well. Only difference is that you can train speed potential if you join the prostitute guild on oomsestnc and the trainer pops up. Your best bet is still probably dumping a massive stack of food on your respective god altar and then praying to have the whole stack blessed all at once.

It's in Tormat, south east part of South Tyris.

This I'm not too sure of for oomsestnc. As far as I know you can only increase your speed by drinking hermes blood, having high speed potential just allows you to get the highest speed increase without the usual diminishing returns when drinking that potion.
Also I noticed I only started unlocking prostitution quests once I joined the prostitutes guild, so try and get in asap if you want more chances at easy platinum. I usually get 3 plat coins per quest if I go x3 the target amount.

It allows you to cheese one important aspect of the game early on, that being money.
>buy stuff you want, potions, deeds or otherwise
>give alcohol to npc to get them drunk, and then earn it all back
>invest into the npcs to get even better stuff next time
>rinse and repeat until your lv 10 millionaire prostitute with godly gear
>enter the puppy cave for the first time
Only downside is that the NPC might starve to death if you're trying to acquire all your cash back off a big purchase like an estate. Could go full cheese and have a full squad of nurse pets heal the npc while you fuck them for their life savings but that's too much cheese, even for me.

In versions 2.10 and older your hunger and thirst go down a bit for every turn you take, meaning the more Speed you have the more food and drink you need to consume per day.

Fortunately it should be no big deal for any character as strong as yours to fix that. Just steal some fruit trees and a BBQ set from a Party Time quest, buy a juicer or find a magaqua to take care of thirst, and either do the Puppy Cave quest for the cooler or dry your fruit dishes at a ranch you own to prevent your travel rations from rotting on you.

I think oomsestepnc is still getting updates, but the op was getting absurdly long, so at some point we cut it down.

Switching from plus to omake variants it feels so liberating to be able to savescum things like mutations. I should go find out what all the other exploits you can do in these versions are because I always found early game to be a real drag.

I hate early game grind in both variants. Platinum grind in particular is my least favorite part of Elona in general.

I always mass-farmed platinum by using Yacatect's gem stone. Fill my inventory with hundreds of rations, make a line of storage houses for encounter-free overworld travel, equip the heavy gear that slows you to a crawl, and pass by entire months within minutes on the overworld map. Every month I pop into a house, activate the gem for 20ish plat, and repeat. Anything to avoid grinding it normally

Then I graduated to just cheating the platinum in and fairly rationing how much I used at a time. Fuck platinum grind
