Well, I'm about 3/4 way through it, and it's really good so far.

Game play is really reminiscent of the Devil May Cry series... Classic button masher, but still really fun in the process. What's nice is the variety of weapons really change it up though (with each having like 15+ key combos), so it doesn't feel bland. Oh and the torture special attacks really just add some class to it imo (look it up on yt)

The story (so far anyway) is pretty captivating, and deep. It's nice because it provides plenty of backstory to help explain things without really taking anything from the flow of the game. Another thing I liked was that it's a serious game, but it has lots of humor to keep the atmosphere light and certain points.

Graphics is really outstanding. Everything from textures, to characters is really smooth and looks great. Unfortunately for me the PS3 version has framrate issues in a couple places... Not something that would cause you to pass the game by though

Oh, and loading.....................................................................takes FOREVER. You can move around in this empty black void, pulling of moves but.... it's like 20 sec. to nearly a min of waiting sometimes... gets on your nerves lol. I heard from a friend, that again it's a PS3 only issue, as SEGA didn't do an amazing job creating the PS3 ver. They did good... just not great due to the framerate/loading...

tl;dr: This game is classy as shit, and if you like action / hacknslash games -- get it.

Besides that, sounds very promising, character development is very important to me however so I hope they aren't shallow cliches like FFXII seemed to produce.
A little in game relationship story goes a long ways.

it's Pocahontas with space aliens and, unfortunately, a fairytale ending. it seemed like the entire first 2 hours was about building characters and showing how horrible war and genocide is and it all came to a head when their home was destroyed and had it ended there it would have pulled some heart and mindgrape-strings but then James hits you with an extra hour that shows the indians come back and kill all the pilgrims effectively squashing any message he was trying to send.

and yes, i DL from every H!P act, the only ones i didn't get were some elder club stuff, but they don't hardly release stuff anymore anyway), not to mention all the non-PV videos, such as making-ofs, concerts, subtitled videos from H!F, Hyakupa, etc. (i literally DL everything that's subtitled), oh and subtitled/karaoke PV's also. so i can't afford to give space to mp3's.

my fiance DL's audio, i DL video.. so when i want to hear something i can usually ask him to play it (especially MM, he has almost everything by them). but he only downloads albums/singles he's really interested in, so the ones he's not i don't end up hearing unless they're performed in concert. he's actually a fan of Mano's, but he hasn't downloaded any of her singles so far, so i doubt he'll get the album.
