・Discord servers. Discord is malware that runs a data mining operation. DJT has moved to Matrix.
・Refold, Migaku and other money grab schemes.

Yes and no.
Quite a few kanji you just learn them easily because they carry on the reading of their main radical.
Quite a few you'll just learn naturally as you learn more words that include them as they are common.
For the rest, most of the times it's better/more efficient to just learn the word you find them in, as they aren't common enough to study just their reading.
For a small part, I do study their individual on reading tho because I keep bloody forgetting it and it annoys the hell out of me.

Overall learning them in isolation the way wanikani does is mostly a waste of time tho IMO.

no matter what you do its gonna take at least 6 to 8 months of daily work before things really start clicking, and you can't really lower that by much
