Sorry, but no. Princess Waltz is easily one of the worst plot based eroge I've played. The plot is terribad, protagonist really stupid and bland, gay relationships, shitty main heroine, excuses for routes are really weak, etc.

Only good things were some of the heroines, like Lun Lun, Angela and Arata's nee-san, and Lun Lun VS Angela.

My main problem with this game was it was so blatantly trying to be FSN (Don't deny it, it's very obvious), but it didn't really try to be serious at all. The end result was that the world of the game seemed very shallow and the characters two dimensional. I got really involved with FSN because I really liked Shirou as a character and found it interesting how he developed differently over the routes, but PW doesn't have anything like that.

I also got so bored in the action scenes I had to skip them, and I HATE skipping things.

The problem with /jp/ is that you guys obviously don't know much about eroge in general.
Both Tsukihime and FSN were accused of being huge rip-off back when they were released, for good reasons.
See Kizuato and Eien no Aselia.

Doesn't change the fact that they were succesful, because most people realize that nothing is fucking original anymore and that only the execution count.

The reason most people here would not be aware of these things is because most of us don't speak japanese and so are limited to what VNs are translated.
