I love MGE for what it is but it's rather frustrating that you can't really trust most people outside this thread and KC's circle with certain specific exceptions. You can't really just pop up somewhere and ask them about it because normies gonna normie and "non-normies" are not necessarily better either. In an ideal world the Interslavic language would take off and allow all the Slavs to come together without everything just ending up being overwhelmingly dominated by Russians. The project seems to be doing fairy well (by conlang standards, at least) and thanks to how close slavic languages are it is very understandable even without studying, but English is probably too well established for it to become the slavic equivalent of Standard Arabic.
