I don't know about Amanchu, I thought it wasn't as good as Aria but it definitely has fans. I think that Aria's fans have been fairly receptive to the newer installments seeing as they share a director with the original and have the blessing of the mangaka, so I bet a new series would perform decent within that niche. The role is also a nice one and Aria tends to give its characters a lot of focus so Nakahara might be able to flex her chops a bit, have you seen the newest movie? It's focused on her character's gondolier company and was warmly recieved.
