E5 medium for that weird bomber, might actually be useful too if it's actually the same as the Hayabusas.

The real tip though is to just copy fleets of somewhere. Personally I can no longer be bothered to actually plan my own fleets, though you should actually check first to see that they don't want you to have like 4 sets of dupes or something.

Really depends on how early in the event. The earlier it is the more you can skimp. I just either run without OASW or without NBDA. Worked okay so far, assuming it isn't EOs. Even then depending on map I can trudge through.

How do fit bonuses work for Nagato and Ise?
The wiki says that for Nagato and Mutsu, putting a 41cm Triple Kai Ni together with a Twin Kai Ni results in more bonus.
For Ise and Hyuuga, this seems to be the case too. But isn't Ise supposed to have 2 Triples as per her Kai Ni appearance?

I got to mix earlier map tags on my final boss kill STF on E5N.
Dunno what happens if you mix in the blue E5 CTF(?) tags though, think that would fuck you over.
If you've got spare ships I would build a fleet to tag them to green first before mixing in tagged ships, so at least worst case you don't tag in untagged ships into the wrong tag.

Currently I'm assuming it's Striking Force/CTF/STF for the 3 points though, but I'm not too sure.

I've only married one ship and don't use dupes except to farm equips. By being an uncreative hack and copying kiton + occasionally consulting zekamashi/wikiwiki, I've only had to drop difficulty a couple times since 2015: Gamby's MO, Summer 2018's STF/CTF shenanigans, Summer 2021 ran out of time.

Is it actually called historical or what? Perhaps they just refer to them as bonus ships which actually make sense. Historical implies they were able to make all those battles IRL which means they should be sharing locks.

I think locks are fine, it simulates that these things are happening simultaneously without actually needing to happen simultaneously. Also simulates that ships engaged somewhere cannot magically be somewhere else at the same time.
