hello /jp/
Those of you who were here at the time might remember me from yesterday, trying to get touhou to work for hosting.
Well, I have opened some ports now, and was wondering if anyone cared to test it out for me?

Ridiculous as ever. How can such a small distance create so much lag.
It's not fun when you can't use 421BC, 623BC, 22BC, 236BC or 214BC and you screen doesn't show what really happens, and if it does, it's half a second behind. I can't avoid guardbreaks like that. Actually, I can't block at all sometimes. And the more is going on on the screen, the slower it becomes.

Really, Youmu is on the ground, a frame later, she's in the air doing a hjA. And you can even block fast enough after a dash with Utsuho with this lag. Normally, her dash is easily punishable. (Not to mention all the A and 2A which too fast.)

GGs, Johan. Always nice to get your ass kicked. Just hope it wasn't too boring for you. Halfway through our no-repeat-characters, I reached a point where if I had continued changing I would have just bored you to tears with terrible play (as you probably saw when you fought my Suwako). Hope you didn't mind me randoming instead. Every time I find a way around Youmu, it's just another opening to be punished... Think I should've stuck with the 4B in your blockstring gaps instead of trying for lightning DPs (which I could never pull off manually, thank God for card activation skill activations), less easily countered, though the loss of damage and knockdown is painful. Thanks for the games, t'was fun.

Good games Saje! Oh man I don't know what it is you do but your Cirno is absolutely devastating. I don't think I'm that bad with Reisen but so far you've beaten her 100% of the time. You Komachi is also pretty neat too, as it seems you're a lot better with melee than I can muster.

My Cirno is pure momentum and mix-ups. Keep me from getting cards for Alt 214+Alt 22 and I'm worthless. Get me on the defensive and I'm worthless even with those cards. Once I do though, it's knockdown to Ice Car/Ice Throw, over and over and over. Love it.

Funny you should mention my Komachi's melee, because I envy your Komachi's bullets. I can't use her 623B or 5C anything like you do. It's all j.2A, f.5A, and corner pressure (which you escape far too easily for my tastes) for me, heh.

GGs, you were exactly the one I wanted to connect, _Akagi_.

I always wonder how fast you get cards. I see you have missing power selected, and a total of 2 cards are in your hand, 10 seconds later, you activate something and grow. I prepare to punish you and suddenly notice it's now missing purple power and I'm hit. Or that one time when I cornered you from the beginning of the game, giving you no room to attack, suddenly Throwing Atlas out of nowhere in the middle of my combo and half my life bar is gone.

What was that. You made a loliball through my sprite and attacked me from behind?
Typhoon always feels like a bad spellcard. Now survive the next... what, 20 seconds? without being killed by super strong oni melee. (Wow I had a lot of luck there when the weather switched from typhoon to heavy fog when I was nearly dead)

Having my spellcard attack hit you when you transform back to normal size (=invulnerable) feels pretty bad. You play so offensive, do you even look at my cards? I think you never even tried to avoid my 5cost spellcard.

Haha, yeah, that was definitely fucked up. I love to use the spellcard lottery.

>What was that. You made a loliball through my sprite and attacked me from behind?
Wasn't it because of that weather that allows to graze physical attacks? I grazed during loliball, you somehow passed through with a 66C or 66B and when you reappeared the loliball hitbox was near enough to hit you. Well, that's the only explanation I've got.

>do you even look at my cards?
Yeah, I definitely do, but I can't do anything against most of them. Also, I took me some time to notice how that new poison spellcard worked. It's a really good one.

>you never even tried to avoid my 5cost spellcard.
I swear I did, but dude that one is really hard to dodge. I think I managed to graze my way out of it one time, but most of the time that spellcard is a no miss (similar to that one from Reimu) and most of the time my strategy is to keep attacking while you're focusing on that.

Also, I'm glad you play Reisen, I think you're the only one around here playing her.

There should be two kinds of what people call "lag" in here.
1. Every input not from the client will take more time to reach the host and be applied to the game.
2. If there's a lag, the game tries to compensate by slowing down the game, so the input lag isn't as noticeable.

>Also, I'm glad you play Reisen, I think you're the only one around here playing her.

That's because Reisen became boring as fuck after they 'rebalanced' her in a way that more or less gave her once viable cookie-cutter deck. 4 green potion, 4 rocket, 4 doll, other 8 are just fodder for potion activations. It's easy, it's boring, it's works when 3 chained rockets do level 5 super damge while Reisen is taking 60% less from everything.

Good games, dude.

What the fuck am I supposed to do against Ooku? I don't know. My usual happy Suika jumping doesn't do jack shit against you.

Advertising as shit tier isn't going to draw many players. Either people think you're trolling and are really good, or they don't want to play someone with no idea how to play. Try saying low or low-middle or something if you're honestly not very good.

Thread is on autosage. You guys might want to start a new thread and host there.

FFFUUU-

well, thanks... I'm gonna wait for a friend and then I'll try again...

anyway, is there a problem if I use "th123w.exe" instead "th123.exe"?

No, the w one is just the weather patch AFAIK. It operates independently of your opponent's version. Just changes the graphics you see.

Great games Mungay, even better than last time. Some of these matches are definitely worth keeping the replay because of some awesome turn of events on both sides.

And nice timing for the disconnect, I was going to leave after that game anyways, I'm really tired. Hope to fight you again on the /jp/ fields.

Fairly good show. Doubt you remember, but its the 2nd time we meet here. I seem to have improved since, but you still have to go easy, a shame really, the first 2 fights were quite intense for me.

Ugh, good games, Dustbunny. Sorry for the shit play, I don't think I've ever dropped so many goddamn combos in my life. Thanks for helping me scrape some of this infernal rust off; it seems like everyone got better and I got worse.

I felt pretty bad about that finish, too. Sky dragon kick right over your humongous blast, ahaha.
