I don't want anyone in the future to do like Sudou and impose his vision on the story. The guy adapted what he thinks of Heaven's Feel, not what it is totally. And the problem wasn't in the time like what some people believe, but how that time was used. Sometimes the story felt too fast and sometimes it was too slow, and of course it was only slow for the parts I didn't care for while the interesting parts were rushed.

desu as I fun as it is to see characters I like return, I'm apprehensive with how Rin has been used recently. Some Rinfags like to say that one of the best things about her is that she can have her own stories without Shirou unlike Saber and Sakura but I've never fully agreed with this. Even though there's more opportunities for stories with Rin, her character traits and nuances were still very much so constructed around Shirou. I mean, Rin kind of is an amalgam of Misaya and Ayaka from Prototype with the spunkiness of proto-Aoko so she wasn't entirely reverse-engineered to be the ideal heroine to act as the catalyst for the kind of arc Shirou has to undergo in UBW, seeing as they both committed to a lifestyle they inherited from their fathers but ultimately did so because it brought them happiness though they have since forgotten that (a common Nasu trope...), but she comes close. Even in HF where she is most independent from Shirou she serves as a useful contrast to Shirou's autism as she can save Sakura but still keep on being a mage while Shirou's so fucked in the head he can't keep being a superhero after straying from his path just one time.

Dunno, feels like both Adventures and FSF so far seem to both be based on sticking Rin in le wacky scenario zomg!!! rather than actually coming up with scenarios which help explore the depth of her character to even half the extent FSN did - if anything, they seem to be disproving the le Rin is so independent from Shirou omg thesis thus far. Too early to tell, of course, but I'm not holding my breath.

The UBW anime was my introduction to the Nasuverse and I loved it, so much so I read FSN and Tsukihime cause of it. I still really like it. I liked it (and Zero... and KnK) so much I told people HF would probably be good once it came out despite the movie format. And then the movies came out and I felt like a dumbass.
