Don't you guys forget to visit the market daily to get up to 40% off on upgrade materials instead of busting your ass on repeating stages hoping for things to drop and using up energy. The intimacy items are generally worth grabbing even if they're not discounted btw.
As for the materials, make sure you don't spend too much on mid-tier and upper-tier mats even if they're discounted if you don't actually need them. The basic mats are more useful to you early on, just keep the tickets waiting for a discount on the right mats if nothing else.
Remember btw that you can turn lower grade mats in higher grade mats in the workshop, but you can't do the opposite.

Each SSR has two intimacy sex scenes, and you either need to ascend the character to 3 stars or use keys to unlock them both. The last one requires a key that you can either buy with real money or grind out over a few months and then make in the worship by merging 5 smaller keys.

I've already seen a JP player who forked money over to unlock Edmond's last scene quickly, it's not hard to imagine that people will fork over money if they're horny enough.

I'm holding off upgrading until I get a card up to 3* Kuya. It's expensive to ascend too fast. otoh the exploration missions help farm items like gifts, upgrade materials, exp potions, and buyer's permits. What they give depends on the units you send. My light territory exploration is at level 2 which takes 9 hours. It gave me loads of rare upgrade materials and gifts so it depends on your resources and priority.

I never played it in japanese so I can't say to what extent it's accurate, but it reads fine to me aside from a typo I spotted. I haven't gotten far enough yet to reach a full sex scene cause I've also been playing non-/blog/ games, but there's been other spicy scenes with snake guy so far that I enjoyed. My only real complaint is that the art is wonky. As a sidenote I got a kick out of how you can sometimes just get gruesomely murdererd during a case if you make the wrong choice because it gave me nostalgia to when I played Fate stay night for the first time.
