With regards to mafu2, we 100% need to give her a chance to post her side of the logs and explain her side here.
I had a theory when I first read this that makes things make more sense when I follow the general timeline of how she behaved.
Note the supposed date of the dinner(assume ~mid December 2020)
Note how her behavior changed before and after.

Between her joining Hololive and that date, her Twitcast had ~5 streams. After that date, she has had the vast majority of her Twitcasts, of increasing intimacy over time. If you could put pick where exactly she started transitioning a lot of her tendencies over to her roommate, the start of those Twitcasts would be it. Her calling her fans her actual boyfriend as her roommate happened here, obviously.

Between her joining Hololive and that date, her menhera outbursts on her Twitter were centered over her being lonely, were infrequent, and she locked her Twitter mid 2020.
After that date, she began tweeting the majority of the most well-known tweets from her, including her "I want to marry a fan because I know they actually love" tweet, ironically very soon after that date. Most of her menhera outbursts related to her fans happened after this point.

Between her joining Hololive and that date, she had few deleted membership posts(she had some, but not many, and often of a different tone than later ones) and hadn't, to my knowledge, gone off on any fans except for iirc one person who said "she'd changed" - and even then, that may be after that date since my memory is foggy. And that was on-stream. She had no meltdowns that I can remember over her fans leaving her and seemed to take it in relative stride when fans mentioned being in relationships before this point.
After that date, all of the major deleted membership posts and meltdowns over singular fans leaving occurred. The one about not telling her you love her lightly, the breakdown over a person oshihen'ing, another similar circumstance a few months later...as well as other circumstances, such as literally being too upset to speak properly for a few minutes when she read an SC about a Fandead that said they married another Fandead. Other posts about her not liking it when fans associate with other fans, most of her more intimate ASMR, and even leaking some of her roommate habits to Rushia with deleted tweets about asking us to not "cheat" on her, and a ton more I'm sure you can recall...all happened after that date.

It's also a little while after that same date where she would begin to beg us to believe her, say she'd never hurt us, things of that nature. Saying she wouldn't show fans favoritism(and seemingly, she did, as it seems those private tweets only occurred prior to that date). Things like that.

Basically, Rushia has always been GFE. But for the life of me, I can't remember any single time where she bled her menhera into it prior to that date. The most unhinged she got was some of her drunk streams, but even in those, she was more..."maternal" than what she's like now.

tl;dr If you had to pick a point in time where Rushia and mikeneko starting merging in terms of their relationship with their fans, it lines up almost perfectly with right after that date and the dinner she had with mafu2

Make of that what you will. And don't just to conclusions either, because I know you want to, and don't assume Rushia speaking to kore2 there is actually indicative of her feelings since it was always obvious that it was her nature to "hide her power level" with respect to how deep she ended up getting with her fans, so it would make sense for her to try and sound normal with him, especially given she was broaching a conversation with him and that date was the last thing they talked about. It could be a rejection, it could be that she inquired and simply had the good sense to reel back, she could've never been serious in the first place and this simply cemented her trajectory afterwards.

We don't know and we'd need to hear it from her side. Again, we owe her that much at least. She's working with a lawyer to seemingly figure out the extent to which she can discuss this, and if she actually cares and actually is innocent it's important to give her that chance.

This thought just came to me because even with that response to korekore....it seems like it was explicitly after that date that she had no contact with him, and seemingly given her description of her love life, didn't pursue anything afterwards nor sounded particularly enthusiastic or descriptive about doing so any time soon.
I don't even think this is the correct take. It was just something I noticed as I looked through all the most intimate moments with her that I remember. What if it WAS kayfabe, until it wasn't? Just something to mull over. Probably shouldn't post how you feel about it, not worth it to get worked up over my shoddy ass rrat when it's likely untrue.

It's clear that this was a long-brewing issue, she walked into this situation with a pre-existing lack of faith in the people around her to have her interests in mind based on precedent.

This also interested me, here's my theory as to why. It's all about the contract and its technicality.

Cover doesn't prevent them from using their private social accounts. When talking about this, Kiara comes to my mind first. I'm pretty sure her roommate is super active but they don't care because she doesn't say anything directly about her being Kiara... or being suicidal for that matter. Matsuri also slipped up by calling herself Matsuri on her roommate I believe, but that technically isn't official. Noel did too.
In Rushia's case, this happened on Rushia stream, not Mikeneko stream. She can't just go on her roommate to make an official statement about what happened over at Rushia stream. That would mean breaking the contract and she would get fired. Management probably told her about this.
They CAN tweet whatever as long as it doesn't break the contract. But they should also know better and not tweet about literally everything ever, especially something that worries the fan. In Rushia's case, her suicidal tweets fall into the "not advisable" category while the tweet that she didn't make (about Mafumafu situation) would've fallen into the "breaking contracts" category.
