They were easy for me since I met waifu, let alone got with her. I think it's more of a how well did they know you/how close were you before getting together, rather than a 'it changes when you get with someone or get married!'.

From my experience relationships start from strong and close friendships, and if you're in that sort of situation you're usually open with the person - so by the time you end up falling for them and asking them out they already know you fap to loli and write copypasta about eating feces as a tripfag on 4chan, and you know them just as well.

I think the main factor in how easy it is to be open relies on how open you were beforehand. A lot of relationships start with people having things they don't mention about them and that's what causes things like the married anons issue of basically suppressing his power levels.

This is apparently common among normalfags (lying, pretending to be someone you aren't, hiding certain things about you), most likely because normalfag relationships typically revolve around getting laid - not planning on marrying each other down the line, so there's no need for that to them - plus a lot of people view knowing each other too well as a problem. So basically you end up hooking up with a girl and assuming you'll break up a bit later...then you fall for each other seriously and that doesn't happen, and so the things you didn't mention BEFORE that become just about impossible to bring up AFTER. I think all of that's stupid, but whatever.

If you want to find a girl who you can talk about that stuff openly with without her calling the cops, kicking you out, or finding you horribly disgusting and never speaking to you again - stop 'hunting' for a waifu or else you'll find some girl youll start dating without knowing anything about her and vice versa.

tl;dr suck my dick.

I'm agreeing with you, my one significant relationship stemmed from a long-term friendship. SHe already knew I fapped to lolis and traps, I already knew that she played BL eroge and schlicked to yandere guys religiously. There really wasn't anything that could cause drama because of suppressed information down the line.

Get out now while you still can!
Seriously though, general life advice: When it all comes down to it, no-one really gives a shit about what your hobbies are. As long as you don't bother anyone else with what you're doing or the way you're living, you can do pretty much whatever the hell you want with your free time. Any other advice I'll give you you've heard a million times before, but the reason for that is because it just gets more and more relevant as you get older.

You never grow out of 2D; it's a as simple as that. And with the saturation over here what it is today compared with 20-30 years ago, it's no surprise that more and more people are discovering their preference for it earlier.

>>3872963
I chuckled. The reason I still read VNs (besides the art) is for the soundtrack; there's nothing quite like a sudden change in music at a crucial moment to up the impact of the scene by leaps and bounds. OSTs are the one thing that VNs will always have over books.

Marketing doesn't equal reality.

Pop-Culture is pretty much the same no matter what medium. Just some changes in preferences. Normalfags are to occupied in the normalfag world, they want to see normalfags doing normalfag stuff, so obviously they will stick with drama and cancer like that. Books don't go well with normalfags unless it's some marketing hype in normalfag circles, so to fit in that will have to read it

I think one's interests change as people get older partly because the people around them start liking other things. This in turn influences the person to go along with whatever is popular among their peers and soon enough, they get into it as well. There is also the factor of doing things for social acceptance.

That being said, I respect family anon because he has kept his interests distinct from the pressure to conform to the interests of others and interests that are socially accepted.

>But the fact that you still fap to loli when you're 40 means that you don't give a fuck about society
You're implying that's a bad thing.

Society's an elaborate ruse, some people know that it's all a lie and just keep acting, some people think they're weird but act in the arbitrarily "normal" way, and the rest of them are actually the only normal people who know it's all an act, and refuse to act that way because acting unlike yourself is nowhere near normal.

I can't wait to quit my job and go back to my NEET ways once I saved enough money to start my investment/retirement plan.

Also protip, playing eroge and watching anime that has heavy fanservice (strike bitches and stuff) are best done in private.
Those discussions are best left in 4chan instead of real life.
