Gluttony also refers to things like overindulgence and hastiness. The whole reason Hideyoshi's company is in trouble to begin with is that he rushed into making it stock listed and then had his feet swept out from under him. Said company also just happens to be deal with the food industry. There are also other small tidbits here and there that further show his "gluttonous" behavior, like the time when he tried to forcibly grab Maria's letter from her, or the fact that he's quick to lend out spending money to children.

Witches are genuine creatures which exist in varying degrees of power. They aren't fictional - they really objectively exist. Featherine is a very powerful witch who likes to observe and interact with stories, occasionally appearing as a character, or directly interacting with people in these stories. The stories she interacts with are in a sense different realities which she views are books which are kept in her grand library. Umineko, Ciconia, Higurashi etc are all settings of these stories and some of these witches have the ability to interact, observe and appear within.

I didn't like the 4th one so much because I thought it was messy and the pacing and constant switching between timelines and fantasy/fiction was confusing. I didn't really get how Ange suddenly went from rokkenjima in the past to the future to different realities and time periods. I kinda get it now, but at the time it was really confusing. It's probably my least favourite.

My favourite is probably 5 as well. I like Erika a lot. She's charismatic and annoying, but that's part of why I like her. 6 is kinda boring, but 7 and 8 are really good. I love the fan service in 8.
