Tenshi isn't used for that story card. The stage has a fun gimmick that prevents most characters from being able to auto grind it which people will probably notice pretty quickly. I won't spoil it.

People rejected the buny and now have to face the consequences.

Iku is probably the easiest option global has right now since her rotation is pretty simple. Just some attack buffs and stat sticks and you get to Yuuka's 2nd health bar with more than enough resources to spare. There is a pretty fun Reisen set-up that can be done at 8p but it actually requires the same card that drops from that stage at full power.

Ignore the first and 3rd card, they are from another stage set-up. I don't know what the highest yin attack stat stick in global is right now but people could slap that on the first and 3rd slot and then pick whatever card gives the largest damage boost for the LW and hope that it is enough. Unless of course you already have the same card at full power, then just use that.

If you want the exact inputs, they are
First turn: use all skills (order does not matter), use 2 shields, use 1 boost and use her 2nd spell on Yuuka. Reisen does get hit by an attack here but that does not matter.
Second turn: Use 2 shields, boost twice and use her 4th spell on Yuuka. This now does enough damage to drain the first health bar and Reisen takes no damage because 2 shields are used.
Final turn: Just use her LW.

It's a 25% light bullet and 25% moon damage increase vs a 50% light bullet damage increase. Since she has to use her LW at 0P, the damage boost should be equal.

I tried recollecting best I could, this chapter introduced at least 40 new characters that haven't been in this chapter before. 38 if you discount those who didn't even have a line of dialogue and 36 if you discount ReimuAzul+Lolikari since they technically got teased last chapter.

Finally finished the story and got round to trying stuff out.
This works with 1* Reisen, but it's not 100% consistent as it failed at around 50 battles.
Those 2 Yuuka cards are absolutely necessary since they have 2 turns of the Yin buff so it carries over to the next turn so by turn 3 you should have Lv10 Yin up.
I suppose you can get away with using the new years SC that has a 1T Lv3 Yin up as long as you have the Yuuka card to use on Turn 2 to extend the buff.
Still it's not perfect, I'll mess around later.

On the final tower floor. Buny not feeling so good.

This is the gimmick of the final floor this time. Basically just translates into 0 damage from certain elements. But being broken removes all buffs so it is not like it matters much.

Those are the two main sources of RNG in the setup, but if she can go 60 rounds without failing then she must not be reliant on them.

I think it's better to only use one graze the 1st turn. If you use two, there's a small chance Joon hits you with a metal break, leaving you with only one graze for the 2nd turn. From there either Joon kills you with another metal break or Shion has a good(?) chance to kill you with her focus shot. If you use only one graze on the 1st turn, you'll always have two for the 2nd turn. You can also reduce damage on the 1st turn with Curious Festival instead of Overwhelming Firepower, since it weakens Joon's metal bullets.

I was reading up on game mechanics and apparently there's a cap on crit dmg up? 10 crit atk up + 10 enemy crit def down will be the same as 5 crit atk up + 5 enemy crit def down because the max total boost is +10.

Does this apply to yin/yang changes as well? Would 5 yin atk up and 5 yin def down be as high as you can go?

No, you can go to 10 attack and 10 debuff and get something absurd like 16x the regular damage. It's quite easy to test actually in stage 1-1-2 because it has an elemental neutral fairy and someone like Ran has the maximum number of attack buffs if she uses all her skills, shields and her LW on the same turn. Add someone like Sagume to debuff the enemy before Ran attacks and suddenly she does 2 times the damage. What I don't know is if you can get 10x attack buff, 10 defense debuff and still get the extra defense debuff from something like poison and burning. This isn't that easy to test.

Maybe I was just unlucky, but they kept getting targeted so I burnt through barriers too fast even with focusing down Tojiko, Futo, then Miko in that order.

Switching to only using 1 graze on turn 1 seems like the ticket.
All the barrier anomaly buffs give her evasion so she doesn't take much damage at all and it boosts her damage enough to consistently break Yuuka in 2 turns. You can probably do the entire fight with only 1 graze on turn 1 lol.

I'll share my setup. I've farmed 4 MLB cards with it and it works 100%. Probably requires full awakening, not sure.

That's an old Iku set-up with an extra turn for no reason. In fact, the way this video is setting things up is just asking to get fucked over. He prolongs the entire thing when Yuuka has a spell ready with no shields being used. The classic set-up is:
Equip Iku's first AoE spell with a Red Marisa card, get Yang attack +3 cards in both her drill spells (must be cards with more than 1 turn duration so no stuff like the new year cards), get the Red Yuuka card on her LW and the last card is just a stat stick. All cards maxed out of course.
First turn: Use all her skills, use 1 shield, boost twice and use the AoE spell with the Red Marisa card on it. This kills the Poorhu and Jewn.
Second turn: 3 boosts, drill Yuuka. If Iku has good enough stats this will drain the first health bar.
Third turn: Use 1 shield, drill Yuuka again.
Final turn: Use the first skill again (the cooldown is over) and just use her LW. Iku is at +10 speed, +9 attack, has accuracy buffs and Yuuka is only at around half health. There is no reason for an extra turn here. Pic related is how things look before the LW is being used.

SFES Yorihime got the rough end of the stick regarding OP units. Not as popular as Mecha Reisen or the incoming Scarlet sisters and she is not as essential as SFES Toyohime for the upcoming challenge quests.

Add to the point that she came out of order for what was supposed to be the grand finale of the mecha 2hus banners and you got an amazing unit many players will skip anyway.

Coolest thing about Yorihime imo is her crit/slayer support. -6 crit def down if you use her entire kit and she has crit attack boosting tied to graze, so she can give the team a +3 burst whenever. That brings total crit support to an effective +9, which is near the max if I understand the system correctly.

Only downside is that she doesn't have a crit atk buff outside of her graze so that +3 is limited to a single turn.

The art in the little manga in the jap version is so uncanny I love it. Look at this dumb doggo. That artist has like 10 styles he switches between.

They went in order and got announced every dev letter so presumably people were saving for her since she was the last one, but they skipped her for Kannagi for some reason. More like a poor man's 100% Orange Juice, which I'd argue could work as a gacha regardless of IP attachment, were its devs more keen on balancing its shit and making the online multiplayer an evened-out space, which they rarely fucking done. For every Flandre solo farming meme getting nerfed, shit like Aunn's Turn1 multi-item fetching was never nerfed, and every player got one as a tutorial character to build up with time anyway.

Game faults aside, it was an Aniplex game and that company can only stay afloat through IP recognition; if you don't get a 10th of the FGO share in your first year, you're done for no matter how much or little money it was put into it, which is a shame. Most of the time, shitcanned Aniplex gachas happen because the company needs its devs to work on another IP-profitable gacha, which is exactly what happened with CB's devs moving onto a Kimetsu no Yaiba one, which isn't exactly doing great lately either.

If you want to know the characters for each stage that I am using:
Yukari: literally anyone at this point (but who even grinds this nowadays...)
Red Marisa card: Little Reimu
Black Dork card: Iku
Keener card: Retro Reisen
Alice card: Hecatia
Final chapter 3 card: Tenshi
Hiifu card 1: just use anyone with a strong LW, they only have 1 health bar
Hiifu card 2: SFES Peach Moonhu

There are a ton of set-ups for each stage tho. I doubt most people use Retro Reisen in that stage but I thought it was funny that she can do it with the right cards. Since people will mostly care about the stages not yet in global, you can also use Kasen to grind the final chapter 3 stage or Cake or Kokoro or Cyber Reisen and so on. The boss is weak to only earth. Even characters like Little Reimu and Hecatia can solo it according to some people but I don't have any set up for that. The final Hiifu stage is the most unforgiving and half the stuff people list on that wiki doesn't actually work 100% of the time. The only character I have actually seen win 100% of the time is Toyohime.

So I guess Tenshi is replaced there but that doesn't really matter much for global. I doubt the devs are in a hurry to release her there. Retro characters print more money.

The thing I like the most about LW is how easy it is to grind. You find an airproof strat and let Auto replay+auto repeat do the rest while you go about your day. Your only obstacles at that point are drop RNG and server connection. The clock and battery display are also nice. What's also great is that the devs are big Touhou fans themselves and slip in all sorts of nods whenever they can.
