Anonymous, I have a theory.

1. We believe that Rumia has an EX form that can be unlocked by removing her red ribbon, which functions as her silly hat.

2. Flandre Scarlet, among the strongest of the people of Gensokyo, has a similar ribbon on top of her hat. A poofy pink affair that is undoubtedly silly.

3. Touhou project characters cannot remove their silly hats, or they will die.

4. As a vampire, and thus one of the undead, Flandre is already dead.

Given that all this is true, if we remove the ribbon on Flandre's hat and/or the hat itself, she will not die but rather will become more powerful than we could possibly imagine.
