This feels disingenious. The days in HF are significantly longer than in other routes and are mostly composed of SoL and quiet character building scenes. There's absolutely nowhere near the sense of urgency in HF for the bulk of the story as there is in UBW. Similarly, although I have many issues how much of the early portions of Fate are handled, a lot of those days that supposedly have nothing have important character beats with the themes being fleshed out. Day 12 has so much shit important to the romance between Shirou and Saber that it's actual more important to the story than most of the action packed days. Notice how Day 15 of Fate is being described as "Gilgamesh stuff" and the bridge scene, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THAT DAY, is glossed over. Nothing supposedly happens on Day 10 of UBW even though Shirou's defect, Shirou and Rin's conversation at the porch, is one of the most important moments in Shirou's character arc and his romance with Rin, as well as key moment for Rin's character development as well. Day 13 glosses over Your Distortion as well, despite the VN itself calling it one of the most important scenes.

Basically, this summary is too obsessed with superficial plot beats, rather than the actual thematic and character content that is actually important. HF has plenty of down time, but it uses it more intelligently than Fate because early Fate is just SoL scenes with characters that barely get any development in the route, whereas HF quickly get to the meat and potatoes and properly develops its key characters. That should be the argument being raised in HF's favour - not this skewed bullshit.

Continuing on - notice how in HF nothing happens during the day on most days. Most of the events being referrenced here happen during the night - little occurs during the day, aside from the aforementioned SoL and character building scenes. Major stuff happens during sunlight on Day 9 and 10 but the route comfortably slips back into the usual routine where HGW stuff only happens at night until Day 14. Contrast with UBW which has Shirou fight Rin and Rider at the school on Day 5, Bloodfort on Day 7, Saber getting kidnapped on Day 11, Gilgamesh killing Illya on Day 13, etc. As previously stated, the argument nothing happens in HF is silly, but this is not an accurate representation of how events in each given route unfold.
