Not to say that she is the strongest character (Hecatia and many of the god characters are stronger) but of the gensokyo youkai only yuyuko has a chance against her.

Agreed. Not that guy, but I find Yukari fans often overrate her far more than Reimu and other fans, especially because of her comment after Phantasm fight where she said she was half asleep. Also I find her people saying that the lost on Lunar War was staged by Yukari to be bullshit becausr she was petty enough to make a detail plan on the second Lunar 'war' just to have Yuyuko stole something from the Watatsukis and feeling good about it. I respect Okina more who praised the protagonists who defeated her after they lost to her initially, even when Aya mentioned that she can just shut down their power in the Ex fight by closing their back door. Meanwhile Reimu fans overrate her Fantasy Nature, while it is not only a very strong ability, but is a passive that can probably activate even when she is unconscious(which means she could probably fight Yuyuko without Spellcard rules to an equal level), she is already strong without it since her God borrowing powers and border manipulation abilities are OP enough, plus she and Sakuya seems like the only named full humans that knows how to wield physical weapons.

In PMiSS Akyuu talks about the time the spellcard system was introduced right? That all Gensokyo's capos and the shirne maidem agreed on it. Seeing how Yukari is one of the sages and a big deal she should have been there and Reimu who was also there know eachother. Unless the shirne maidem Akyuu speaks about is not Reimu but a previous shrine maiden (Reimu 98?)

If you have read WaaH and played HSiFS, you should know Reimu dont know Okina and Kasen too until they met and introduce themselves as sages. Heck Reimu dont even know Kasen is an oni until near the very last chapter. If we want to enter headcanon territory, Reimu probably introduce it to some messenger youkais who pass it on to the sages, or she introduced it to the vampires who are the main reason the Spellcard rules exists in the first place.

I dont think so, because in PoFV when Reimu went against Yuuka, one of Reimu's lines is "Everything went back to normal when I defeat you back then", and Alice's first meeting with Reimu in Windows era during PCB indicated that they already met previously, which is obviously Mystic Square. The most obvious shit is how close the PC 98 Reimu's personality with the current one, a sociopath and hates practice.
