Can anyone recommend me some good touhou doujins? I like those that focus on character origins, and backstories, and those with a more sad/dark style.

Here's few of my favourites.

Maruchira's "Why did she leave the miniature garden"
RED-SIGHT's "Lovers High", this one also has bonus of being one of the few doujins with Renko and Mary in focus.
Fuantei's "Thank You Cirno", it's one of artist's more serious works.
Stripe Pattern's "Glorious Revolution" series. This is usually hit or miss to people.
MARCH's "Expectant Moon".

Well, I could also just give circle names, but this should be good starter.
