Those were the main flavors of Rin available: smug, angry, and one that thinks she's smarter than you, two of each so it doesn't get old. Then there were a few rare ones like the shy Rin posted here, glasses Rin (lecturing), kiss Rin, action Rin and shocked Rin.

That's what's so devilish about Fate. It forces you to be stupid because it's in character for Shirou, and then it complains to you about how stupid you are. WELL FUCK ME NASU, how about you write a protagonist of normal intellect level next time?

Well that was the "mask" she put on during her daily life, a charade were she hid her true self (parts of it at least).
Shirou was a bit special though, while he may not be the most intellectual one among the bunch (nothing implied that his intellect was bad however, his thoughts just lied elsewere as he barely had a sense of self and since his priorities were a bit unique) he could still see right through Rin's charade.
If one would put it in D&D terms one could say that his wisdom was high while his intelligence was about average.
