Not the most important, but still important since it's a visual medium. If it looks like shit it's gonna drag the thing down. Saya looked like shit most of the time. And when it didn't look like shit the artwork still came off as lazy.

I also like that people here above me think that photos ran through photoshop filters and 3D gore effects that look ripped straight from a CGI intro circa 1997 are fantastic.

Fuminori lacks any display of insanity or disgust for the world around him which is a huge thing in the VN.

What about the Synopsis saying that Saya takes his pain away if he agrees to help her?
In the opposite direction of Saya simply being there to comfort him because he's the only one who doesn't see her as a huge ugly monster, and she's the only one he doesn't see as a huge ugly monster.

The had a choice between just jerking off the fanbase by doing a direct adaption, steal shit from the fantranslation and whatnot, or take the story and flip it into something new while still retaining bits and pieces of the original concept.
