I know this is a long shot but the last time I asked a very kind anon here helped me out.
Does someone have subtitles for the movie "Girlfriend: Someone Please Stop the World 2004" (https://letterboxd.com/film/girlfriend-someone-please-stop-the-world/))
The whole movie is on youtube but I haven't been able to find subtitles for it.

Saiai, despite all the clichés and the predictabilities, was fine for a drama airing at that timeslot on that tv network. The story peaked after they found Goto, picked up after Tachibana's death but overall was carried by the charm of the characters, namely Daichan.

Nah. Watched both and Shinhanin Flag unlike Saiai had me on the edge of my seat every single week. Shinhaning Flag as a mystery drama makes you speculate and theorize, had unexpected swerves and cliffhangers. With Saiai I was literally just waiting for them to get over with it and reveal the obvious. One thing Saiai had it better was the human drama but I don't place it higher than Shinhanin Flag's suspenseful story.

I watch WOWOW's dramas every season and Mukou no Hate is my personal drama of the year (and Kinnikuman is drama of the Fall season), however Shinhanin Flag was a very fun watch. I dunno if you've watched it or completed it but there's no doubt it was good.

I was rooting for Haraichi. I popped when they made it in the fukkatsu. They actually tried to innovate with their neta this time around, particularly Iwai who went into a rampage unlike his usual self. Even the stingy Kamimuma and the stingy Macchan saw how good it was but the rest of the judges didn't for some reason. It's really sad but I'm glad they showed such a fine neta on the grandest stage of them all in their last eligible year.

The earthquake tragedy as a background to the story actually gave it a different experience from the manga and there's no better man than Sono to make something original out of the original material. If this was a 1:1 adaptation I wouldn't have liked it much and Sono doesn't do that anyway, he loves to add his own personal prints over his works, besides that, it's impossible to re-create Furuya's charm into live-action so it's better to have someone creative like Sono to make a movie out of it. The result was a masterpiece.

I watched Watashi no Otto since both of you recommended it and loved it a lot. Very suspenseful to the very end, had me confused at times but the twist was great.
I also watched Tada Rikon and it was just as suspenseful. I'm getting hungry for suspenseful dramas now after watching them so Risky should be good too.

While I don't want the show to end, I'm sure we both know that each new one would be remembered as blander than the one before it.
They're all getting older, and really funny, simple stuff doesn't get freatured anymore because they need to cram as many "special guests" as possible, ones that won't even do anything funny but are just there to force out a """laugh""" of courtesy when they come in and spit out their unfunny catchphrase.
Not to mention all those interminable segments in which it's okay to laugh because they need to let the unfunny guest neta end so they can force out more courtesy laughs since it's be rude to let them utterly bomb.

I miss sudden, simple, unexpected stuff like the guy in Hospital jumping out of the car and sinking into a trap.
