if you see any collection on pixiv with more than three images it is likely that most of it isn't uploaded. the PISAS/NTISAS extension tells you what is uploaded and what isn't. but only from that source (it doesn't tell you if for example the twitter version of a pic is uploaded and the same picture, usually in a better quality, was also uploaded on pixiv)

Since danbooru is weeaboo central, the best option imo is to upload the japanese ones, add translation notes with the english text, and on the first one leave a comment saying the translation's from whatever discord server hard translated it. Images are auto-reverse-searched when you try to upload them. You'll see potential duplicates under "Similar Posts" on the upload page if there are any. There's an API endpoint for reverse searches so you could possibly automate it without trying to upload every single image but I'm not aware of any scripts utilizing it.

I've 300 tabs open of stuff I want to upload, including dozens of tabs of artists whose entire portfolio I want to upload.
Obviously the upload speed is not inhuman enough.

When I find good art on pixiv or twitter, I put it on both of those boorus simultaneously so it never gets lost or fades into obscurity before getting proper recognition. It's a good way to preserve things you find by chance on any other website.

It's worth noting the original tag is on track to overtaking the touhou tag, I know it doesn't quite count as copyright but it's interesting nonetheless.

It's useful if I forget to add some common tags but generally speaking it's more efficient to just memorize a shitton of tags by tagging a lot and reading wikis. One nice thing about deepdanbooru is that it sometimes suggests tags I had no idea existed. It's a nice supplement but it's not a replacement for knowing how to tag properly since some tags have retarded overly-specific definitions it might not pick up on. Also it often mistags medium hair as short hair.
