Just watched the afternoon part of the Photon Maiden live. It was fun, but I wish they'd cut down on the DJTIME segments, just the first one was enough. The girls could've actually performed the songs from the second one instead.

Nah, it was already uploaded this way. I downloaded the highest quality stream using annie and the audio track itself is technically stereo, it's just identical in both channels (besides, even with the low quality on bili web player the audio seems to be untouched and it's clearly real stereo in the afternoon part).
Also, it sounds heavily compressed, painful to listen at a high volume. I'd rather not ruin the Maidens' concert for myself this way.
Well, there's nothing we can do about it unless someone uploads a better version and I'm not gonna complain too much about what we get for free. At least the first part is fine.

Umehara mentioned before that she had to cut short her classes at voice acting school due to the plague, though her Twitter profile has some voice roles. Her portfolio is mostly of roles in theater from what googling/wikipedia tells me. Ludvico and Odaiba are in the weird position where fans love them and the Last Bullet devs are clearly happy to add them at the first opportunity, but it isn't especially profitable for Bushimo and/or Bushiroad Media because most (all?) of their merch so far, and presumably in the future, has been produced by Azone and Pius. I honestly can't recall whether the characters from these two schools who appeared in LoG and TFG had any merch other than the obligatory pamphlet appearances. There might also be some office politics involved where Bushiroad can only market Yurigaoka/Kanba/Herensuge; the recent non-game developments in the series don't have Bushiroad's name or "Assault Lily Project" in the credits.

Then again, it also wouldn't surprise me if some decision-maker wants to do a Granblue and make characters like Himari and Shenlin playable since their actresses are already voicing other characters in the game, so they can record lines for multiple characters in one trip to the studio. As it were, I'm surprised it hasn't happened for Bushiroad's games with big casts and they went down the path of casting many of the same people across different projects, but that's another topic for another time.

A pattern I notice in every Morfonica live is that Amane will have at least one or two voice cracks here and there, but still pulls through. I'd say her "good" performances were the joint lives with RAS and Poppin Party, but Andante and Amabile are her poorest in terms of vocals. I really wonder if Bushi's giving her any vocal lessons.

Not that anon, but you're right about the song choice. I think they're trying too hard to make her sing in character, too. Mashiro has a very specific voice, and while it's not a problem for Amane to speak like that in the game/anime, singing with a voice like this is definitely giving her a hard time. She sounds a lot better and natural in the D4DJ lives.
