In my opinion, some Touhous are better with some constructive doujins rather than hentai of them. Mokou being the perfect example. Aside from having an eternal rival and ability to manipulate fire, the artist can get in depth with her lonely life and solice.

Not one doujin has been made where Mokou actually rescued lost people in it. Not one! I enjoy a nice, complex storyline, but stays canonical. These kinds of doujins, in my opinion, far surpass any hentai or any practical doujins that were ever made.

Mokou is just one example, but there's also Yuyuko, Eirin, and other countless characters that can be used. But noooooo, artists just decide "fuck it", and so that's what we see our Touhous do.
