I have bought €400 from amazon.co.jp. DHL was the shipper and the way they handle customs is that they contact you beforehand and ask you for the details of the package (literally just a short description where you can write "health care items" and that's it).
Amazon covers customs fees (I'm in the EU and my country recently tightened customs controls but maybe it still depends from country to country) so I never had issues there. Customs might still check the package (I saw DHL tape on one of my orders but only out of like 6) but I didn't have any issue.

motsutoys delivers just fine to poland but waiting for them to stock up their catalogue takes ages for at least a year now. Ordered a few times and never had an issue.

If you're just starting out I'd suggest picking out something from motsu, but they are the more expensive option from the two.
