It's better in basically every way unless you need the H and cooming on maids. It kept the maturity and heart, expanded the story and added to it with stellar presentation to boot. The experience itself was just something else that's hard to describe since they subvert expectations for OG fans at times. Though the first route was very nostalgic, yet still fresh, what followed showed they're willing to change it up a lot more so you're really reliving Tsukihime but also something new. Far Side will probably be wild given some of the foreshadowing. I'd say it's already the best work TM has done even w/o the other half that a lot of people prefer.

I really liked it, I really respect he added ideas from Sasaki Shonen in Arcueid's route, and Ciel's route is amazing.
While no Nero was sad, Vlov's fight is still great, and he's better as a mid boss, he serves to explain about actual vampires, vampire ranks, including the DAA and the Idea Blood, I still have hope Nero will appear though, he was obviously around.

Off the top of my head: Shiki hearing dogs again like in the OG and seeing Vlov killing one and it melting. This could either indicate Vlov making a familiar or killing Nero's beast if he is in fact around. We also get the flashback with Roa but it doesn't mean Nero is present.

The hospital thing with the zombies is definitely something that happened to this Shiki when he was young. When DA Noel uses her magan to show her own past, she's able to see into Shiki's past too. She then refers to a memory from Shiki's past that even he's forgotten. Shiki sees a 16 year old girl stood behind Noel being killed by a vampire and completely freezes. It leads to a bad end. The hostpital flashbacks are triggered by Shiki seeing the OL getting her blood sucked by Vlov, which I think evokes the same event to him.
You can also check out the scene 浅はかな夢 on day 8 in which Shiki remembers seeing a dream that smelled like blood shortly before he was supposed to be discharged.
