Look up Maritan/Pixel Maritan on /rs/. I recommend you get the latest book. Ai Nonaka as Tinkle is pretty goddamn funny.

Sample tracing practice from H2SO4. Drawing a balanced 5-head loli proportion is hard, since a little mistake can make the head looks too big. H2SO4 also have such extreme hip proportion and thinstick legs, creating a fragile loli look.

The character design used simple 2 blue colors with white. The clothing is pretty cute; I wonder if such fashion is something you can learn over internet without referencing 3D.

Yeah thanks, my knowledge of correct lighting is laughable at best, and while some of the shadows don't make much sense a lot of it was for stylistic reasons (as in, I didn't want her leg to look like it was coming from nowhere). Thanks for the feedback though, I'll keep it in mind.

It was drawn in SAI, but honestly I'd say both SAI and oC are great tools for producing smooth, clean lines. The pen tracking in photoshop seems to be much less effective and in larger brush settings the difference is glaring.
