Episode 1- n/a --- The beginning portion was dedicated to introducing characters, so it's expected to be rather boring, but when the first twilight came around, things got really interesting.
Episode 2- 7/10
Episode 3- 10/10 story, 10/10 fucking troll, goddammit fuck you, I started tearing up with rage, bitch.
Episode 4- 4/10 ---I understand Ange had a bad life, but goddamn, you don't need to remind me every 5 seconds. What could have been adequately stated in, at most, 100 lines, had to be drawn out for 5 or 10 times that much. Goddamn, get to the killing and murder-solving already.

Episode 3 is the only episode I really liked, rest is kinda average.
And I'm getting tired of the magic vs mystery setup, or rather the way it's presented.
I understand the points of all these crappy magical fights, all these thrown-away fanservice characters, etc..., but these scenes are annoying rather than being intereresting.
I would like to see more time focused on the characters of the real world to make them a little more complex, since most of them desperately need it.

Though I would say the awesome soundtrack during the scenes fantasy fights scenes make them bearable.

3 is the best episode of Umineko, if you didn't like it, you must be some kind of irredeemable faggot.

Amakusa Juuza DO have a motive for killing her, since he doesn't work for Ange after all. Tetsuro Okonogi was the person who hired him from the beginning.
1. gain photograph or recording of Kasumi epic reveal and her torturing Ange
2. kill all witness with sniper (exploiting the confusion caused by Ange's magical babbling)
3. use evidence to ensure government that Tetsuro Okonogi are worthy of Ushiromiya's inheritance.
Just my theory, assuming that Okonogi is a player in the game instead of being game pieces. Ange either died because of the torture, aftermath wound, or also killed by Juuza.

I thought the plot progression in 4 was brilliant. They teased you with Battler's new blue text in the beginning.

Showed some Ange, ass-kicking cousins with an awesome transition with "hibuta", provided more insight into what "magic" is in the story, Ange got turned into hamburger, etc.

For EP1 it is not really rocket science.

Natsuhi has her delusion talk with Kinzo and of course not being dead when the lol killer cant get into her room.

For EP2 it is tougher. For one Rosa cant kill everyone.

Honestly, I think Nanjo is the most suspicious of the lot if we take into consideration a spoiler from Episode 4 saying Kinzo has been dead before the game ever started. This also draws suspicion on Genji, Kanon, and Shannon, but (it could be just their attitudes fooling me), I just don't buy it for them, as Genji is LOYALTY, Kanon would never be able to get Jessica if worked with any of the adults, and Shannon appears to have complete faith in George convincing the family to let them marry.

If you're going to say someone is pretending to be dead in Episode 1, I'd suspect Kyrie, Rudolf, Rosa and Gohda far more than Kanon. Gohda in particular is extremely more suspicious as he is the only servant to have been hired by Natsuhi. I won't say that Kanon has absolutely no reason to ally with Natsuhi (perhaps she promised to let Jessica be with him), but I don't think he's dumb enough to accept any proposal from Natushi.

True, but before we can just point fingers at her, consider that it is just easier to kill and move 6 people in one location than it is to track them all down and move them to said location. Plus, if we take just the Kanon+Natushi combo, I think they would have left significant pieces of evidence linking them to the murders of the first 6, as neither of them has the physical strength to carry a single body by themselves or, possibly, together.

Unfortunately, the tools that I'd have expected the killers to use in moving the bodies were never talked about after those murders in Episode 1, namely the wheelbarrow we see Kanon using at the beginning of it.

I like to think that there is some truth as to what really happened in the fantasy parts of the story, which is what makes it hard for me to believe Genji is any more suspicious than any of the other servants, seeing as he's died 2/3 of the time by Episode 3. Still, I think Battler could have easily have won the game at the end of Episode 3 by focusing only on the line A human, with their feet on the ground, held up a weapon and killed with it!, as EVA-Beatrice essentially disproved her own existence. Battler does not have to find the culprit, nor explain the motives behind the murders. All he has to do is prove that every murder was committed by humans.
