What will happen if ZUN dies of cirrhosis in the next 5 years?

some crazy fan would probably donate their liver
anyway, I'm pretty sure ZUN doesn't actually do much damage to his liver, because he drinks japanese beer and that shit is weak as fuck

>> No.36619491

Having a few beers, even if you do it every day, won't give you liver cirrhosis.
>>36619376
>he drinks japanese beer and that shit is weak as fuck
The average beer in US and Europe is around 4.5%, while in japan it's 5.0%.
ZUN has said his favorite is Kirin beer, which is 5%.

This
It isn't healthy, but depending on the genetic lottery, 2-4 >10% bottles/cans of beer daily isn't going to hit your average life expectancy compared to a plethora of more common and overlooked lifestyle choices. Like sedentary living, sleep deprivation, caffeine and other legal stimulant dependency, etc.
He'll kick the bucket eventually, but I wouldn't bet on anything exacerbated by alcohol.

Beer in general is weak as fuck, i mean yes, there exist stronger beers but basic stuff usually is always around 4-5% alc. Those people who get their liver fucked usually are people who drink far stronger stuff (20-40%) or constalty take painkillers or such, lets not forget that alcohol is not only thing that ruins liver.

Sounds like he'd use plenty of antioxidants, flavonoids and vitamins in his diet
But I guess it's ZUN's choice how to live, so, nothing to be sad about, as nothing can be done about it.
Appreciate him while he is still alive.

It will mean he had been drinking roughly a 1.75 of whiskey every 12 hours for 30 years.

How the fuck is ZUN so skinny if he drinks beer every day? He should have a massive gut by now.

The only painkiller bad for your liver is Tylenol (aka Acetaminophen or APAP). Neither NSAIDs nor opiates harm your liver although they are bad for you in other ways.

Every substance that liver have to process and are not meant to linger in your body is bad for liver.
Some of them less than others but if you have to take any painkillers or medications constantly it is bad for your liver not as much as drinking bottle of 40% alcohol once or twice a week but it will still add up in long run and everyone dont have great genetics to compensate for that.

Also there is always change that there is multiple things that liver have to process, not just painkillers/medicine or alcohol.

>40% alcohol once or twice a week
So you would have to do this everyday for about 7 years to get cirrhosis.
I would know. Don't worry Zun is fine with a few beers a day. I've seen people who drink 30 a day and somehow still walk this earth.

Yeah i know, beer and maybe alcohol in general have been demonized today so that people now days think that you could get cirrhosis or such in few years even though probably some people just have weaker livers so its probably possible but not really common.
And maybe alcohol get's the blame most of the time even though there might be various other reasons for failed liver, alcohol most likely is part of it but there is so much various substances even on food nowdays that people buy from grocery store that who the fuck knows (or admits) that they might also affect to liver atleast in smaller scale. (bug poisons in fruits, preservatives in various foods and some foods that liver just needs to process)

No, not really.
It doesnt hurt in moderation, but it will probably weaken your heart and cardiovascular system if you abuse it.
That said there are people who have managed to live in their 90s and 100s drinking multiple cups a day.
It really depends on your genetics and your other overall health.
