Trying to escape N3 here, was going to post about this.

I've been playing it and it's great, if you can handle a lot of new words thrown at you at once then it's no biggie, you'll find out pretty quick if you can get through tutorial hell without burning out.

A lot of scenes you can tell what's going on by just getting the gist of the convo and watching the characters do shit, the most dictionary heavy parts for me are the small talk sections which there are a lot of but are usually optional.

I've been getting by on hard, I'm able to tell what items I need to get and from where, if you can't do that either then there will probably be issues.

TLDR give it a go anon it doesn't even have denuvo

The best way to learn to read is to read native things, listen to native things, write to Japanese people, and talk to Japanese people. I don't know what AJATT is, but I can guarantee you that no matter how long you spend in a controlled learning environment, it won't get you to a point where you're at a native level, which is where you need to be to read things aimed at natives with 100% comprehension.

in comparison to gaim, faiz, and ryuki it isn't as serious as most modern kamen rider is but it seems to be setting up for something darker in its themes at least, i'd say it's closer to tone in OOOs and W which are two of my favorite seasons. it's akin to something like a buddy cop genre, give the first two eps a try and see for yourself, i think the two main characters play off each other well

the theme is people battling their inner demon and i have a theory that is also reflective of the main character, whose demon wants to continue the chaos which is reflective of his boredom with his mundane life
