Good games Giant Tree! You have a really good Cirno with your corner control and skill use. I love how you run a lot of interesting cards for all the characters. Also, BE from pressure?! It throws me for such a loop and breaks my brain. If you BE'd upwards instead of always forwards, it'd be even harder to deal with.

Holy fuck Rabbit-Box, that didn't even feel like two hours. GGs.
Well, tonight I had been experimenting a few things to help myself focus more because that's something I suck shit at doing, the first of which being something I've pretty much always despised, which is shutting off the BGM and replacing it. Weird that it seemed to work out so well since I was getting off timings I otherwise wouldn't, but I guess we have a success there. Still gonna complain that I don't like it, but at least I don't have to endure that menu music anymore. Hurr.

First of all, let me say that I honestly forgot it was yours of all Youmus I was up against when I picked Badlice for shits and giggles; BAD IDEA GIANT FREE. Cute, though, that jokedeck Cirno was able to hold her own against her for so long, but I feel like you were using a sandbag deck on that one.

Against your Reisen I think you've shown me the light that spark can be good; I ran it in SWR and the beginning of soku but eventually took it out since it was too much work to input the whole 623 just for minor close-range damage, but seeing how bad it fucks up jump-ins and bad melee attempts makes it truly look like a thing of glory.

Finally, sorry about jumping around like a moron when I was running Suika, some IRC tourneyfags were talking about being able to hangeki in the air and I ended up being tasked with proving/disproving it; turns out you can't. Sort of a weird idea that you'd be able to in the first place I guess, but you picked Komatits of all toohoos so it seemed like a good place to try it, what with her abusable j.2A and all.
Anyway, thanks for the games brah. I'm shoving you near the top of the fun-to-play-from-/jp/ list now, though to be honest I think you were up there already. See, these things would be better to keep track of if I actually wrote them down. ;_;

>> No.3642049

>>3641992
Haha, in reality the all system card deck IS my main Cirno deck. Admittedly, I have a lot of difficulty using Cirno since she moves and attacks somewhat differently than the rest of the characters and I've never been able to land her SCs so using system cards is equally as effective. If I were to try and build a proper Cirno deck and practice with her, I'd probably copy Guy. I'm also really awful with the new characters introduced in Soku, so you really beat the best Cirno I could muster (aerial 623C crossups and faking 66C for 3A C is all I can do).

Haha, I also noticed you were doing something strange in that Koma/Suika match and now it makes sense. I thought you were giving me a freebie since it was so one sided in your favor from the get go. Also, what helped that Reisen deck is that it's full of Potions, damage boosters and 4 of the same skill card. Basically it's designed to do ridiculous damage even with the usual dinky light spark by round 2.

Also now that you mentioned it I kind of want to replace the Menu theme with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQqUcPwNRtk . Call me a sucker but I love the repetitive themes in this game except for the godforsaken menu song.

Not only that, they are
1. MUCH TOO QUICK, you can just cancel everything into a fireball and deal thousands of damage. Characters without graze attacks can't deal with it properly.
2. HUGE ( you shot it, and I was hit during my j2A approach even though I was still half a character length away from the bullet.

Awesome Sakuya is awesome! You even taught me some things there, especially how to stop the dash in on my midscreens! One thing I think we both need to start incorporating is 2B instead of 5B for our corners.

Sorry to cut it short, but game just got interesting, and while typing, fuckin A-Rod... I'll rehost later when this game's off. Thanks for the matches.

Good games E-MAN.
I still owe you a frozen fish fight. If I knew it was you I would've switched to the right profile.
Anyway, those Sakuya mirrors were fun. You caught on to what I was doing pretty quickly. I wish I could remember to use 66C once in a while. It would've worked better than dashing through your knives and hoping I land a hit.

Had lots of fun, also thanks for changing your character, I really have no hope against your patchy, you punish every one of my errors. As for Suwako, she really is on the lowish tiers whereas Suika is definitely high ranked, so the games were kinda imbalanced, to my advantage of course.

And I need to learn how to play with the giant Suika. I mess up every time I use the spellcard.

While 3 games is hardly much to write giant paragraphs about at least you proved my point by showing up in under ten minutes; goes to show that as long as you have amusing quotes and don't bitch about the time there's always somebody willing to let you beat them up or, occasionally, vice versa.

Either way I think you have a cute playstyle, but jesus fuck, I swear you have to be the single most difficult person to use Vampire Kiss on because you NEVER block or graze 5C. I don't know if you're doing it on purpose because you know what's coming if you do or if you just like blocking bullets with your face, but I'll admit you provoked many a rage because I could never pull off my signature move. Goddamn you people, how many times do I have to tell you? Tier lists are bullshit.
Suika at A and not SSS+? Pfft. Obviously Japanese tier lists are going to look like that because of their biases toward certain characters, and even if Suwako IS bad she has no valid reason to be that low, if anything it just means that the players who play her over there don't do so seriously. At least in the west we have some good players like ZomB and beats who play her and play her well; fagfaces over there are just tierwhores who only play characters that win. No Arakune for them.
If anything we should just be making our own superior tierlist by now, or cultural tiers I guess. Yuyuko and such are good but over here most cow players are no match for the Suikas and the Yukaris.

Any advice is welcome!

This. But hey, we had fun.
Time to go do the same thing on /v/, I guess.

Ohh, so you're that Akagi everyone's been talking about? GGs, then.

Your playstyle is cute; either way, somebody advertising themselves as "random button mashing tier" sounded like an excuse to play characters I don't normally play and/or run jokedecks, shit was pretty entertaining.
I probably should've punished your mistakes more and helped get you out of "random button mashing" but hell, I just wanted to have fun. I'll leave that up to the tourneyfags.

Welp, Icekin and I are done, you kids should probably go start up a new thread now.

Ohh right, almost forgot my favorite part.
The way you play Suika is really silly, half of the time I don't know if you're just toying like my jokedeckers or what; first of all, the scrubbiest thing you can do in this game is randomly flying up to the top of the screen and trying to stomp/default 623/shoot bullets from there. All it does is announce to your opponent and/or spectators, "HEY GUYS I'M A SUPER SMASH BROS. PLAYER, AM I COOL YET?" Don't do it. It's not strategic, it just looks goofy.
Now if you're SDD and helicoptering up there on purpose, that's a different story. SDD is famous for his own style of goof.

Second: You seem to love loliball a lot, so it may be beneficial for you to know that you can 623 or alt 236 stomp (which I saw you running) after a loliball connects or is blocked, preferably the latter because most scrubs and distracted high-level players can be easily tricked into grazing and eating loli. Alternatively you can use the alt 236 fireball, my favorite, which is safer and gives Sweekuh enough pushback to get in a safer place to bulletspam if that's your thing.

Finally: Suika's corner pressure is considered one of the worst in the game, but I guarantee it can at least be much better than dial-A. Dial-A can be staggered to catch mashers off-guard but if they block the last hit they can fuck Suika's shit up. The safest is 5AA 236B/C, but my personal favorite it 5AA 5B 5C 236B/C, which is definitely not the best but it's useful against BE at least. It would help to even do mixups like 2B and possibly even 6A if you're thinking about it, but otherwise you can just be mindless and do whatever.
Because that's what Suika's playstyle is. 100% mindless.

But I still love her so much~
