I think it's Debris, not Devil.
If a Debris remembers her human past they gain a lot of power, but the conflicting existences and memories would make her go crazy and rampage, Zeno and Nanaba want to stop that.
Past Vi's clan is the same as Rise, the recent new girl, a patriarchy that sees women as inferiors and that's why she was sent on a suicide mission, she's given up on everything so she's also ok with Zeno killing her, Rise also already talked about Vi as a long past ancestor in one of her card stories.
The "dreams" Human Vi has are just Debris Vi life, they go crazy because the can't tell who is the "dream" and who is "real"
Alt Asaka talks with Nanaba and tells her she will convince Asaka to help kill Vi, Asaka says she's helping to protect MC, because he's such a nice guy™ he would otherwise just sacrifice himself protecting Vi once she rampages.
But the final cliffhanger seems to imply it was just a plan from Asaka and Alt Asaka to convince Human Vi that she has people who care about her and shouldn't give up.
Also, new girl when human was actually, Oda Nobunaga.
I like the way they started using the card CGs inside the story.

The problems with being the main heroine. Took 8 10-rolls (everything I had + the free one) but I did get Asaka this time, unlike the failure at Anniversary. Came with Chuuni Dana, a Rin and normal Norn. Rin was the first one in my last roll so I skipped the rest only to be surprised by Asaka.

The fact that it did not go the way of last year's Summer Gacha (getting animation-less Vi instead of the animated Bridgette) is already great. Although lore-wise, I was curious about this Vi.

Like player levels? That's just clearing stages. If you mean unit levels, you just need to get the points for that. They're rewards for every event, login bonuses, etc.

Basically you'll want to have a core team. I'd recommend a good tank character (Sakura or Frederica, I use the latter, maybe also Priscilla), a good close-range DD (Gina for me), and someone else who is either support, another big DD, or is capable of attacking the back line (I use Floria, but go nuts, there are a lot of options). Raise them up to max level and get them the best rank gear, even if it's a lower +#. Every tier is a big upgrade. Make sure you unlock as many of their passive skill levels as you can in the heroine stories. You'll need to 3* the level 50 map to max their super attack and the level 60 map to max their combat passive. Obviously you'll need to do this incrementally, but you'll get there over time.

For events, specifically, you'll want to look at the event unit, if there is one, and find out where they best fit as a replacement in your core team. Make sure you likewise raise them all the way up. If there is an event unit then they likely have a costume, so play through the maps until you do two things: 1) You unlock the special equip panel that increases drops by 3 (collect this by checking the event missions). I think you get this by the time you've cleared every map once up to 40 or 45? You'll see your progress for each unlock at the top of the map select screen. It will tell you how many more items until the next one. The items you need to unlock these are only in the first half of these events (up to level 50) and you need 5600 to get everything up to the unlockable H-scene. Remember to equip this as soon as you get it. I usually put it on the event girl. 2) Once you get enough story unlocks in the event to get the epilogue scene, you'll get a costume for the event character. Go into your character menu and find the menu item that lets you pick their costume. These costumes are always better than the default once upgraded and they usually have a fat bonus to either attack or defense for that character during the event. While you're there, make sure to equip your special panel that gives your +3 drops if you haven't and start using it as early as you get it to save stamina. You can also use the points you get in the first half to roll the event gacha, so if you don't have good normal panels to equip for stats, then you can go roll those and equip them as well. This will help you push up to harder levels for better rewards. In the second half of the event, just do the same, but you're getting shop points instead after level 50. It's 1300 to get all the costume upgrades and the last H-scene. Extras can be spent on equipment materials or upgrade items.

For any events that don't match the above format, you're basically just unlocking and grinding the highest level map you can handle.

The important part is getting through the initial hump of basics and gaining the thirst for knowledge so you can learn on your own outside of standardized classes.
Fully voiced untranslated eroge are pretty good in that they force you to read Japanese and look up words, but you get the benefit of hearing the lines and getting used to the cadence of spoken Japanese. There's no pressure of graded tests and learning the language along the way will reward you with better a cooming experience.

Any of you guys play mist train? I'm just wondering if that event at the bottom is worth it. My japanese is pretty basic, but from what I understood on the wiki, you can get break through stat caps each time you cap HP on a stage using the eclipse equips, and that's just what I've been doing. Unless I completely misunderstood the growth system, isn't it better to grind stages where the HP is capped than get a character to 800 base stats instantly?

Quite F2P friendly overall with a lot of roll tickets and free gems, should be doable to save up enough gems for one spark every 2-3 months.
There's banners with x2 rate at the end of months, but those banners won't feature limited characters so plan your rolls carefully.
Grinding is relative fast since you can stack x4 runs at once. Game also give you shit ton of stamina pots so it's up to you if you want to spend 30 minute or a few hours per day in the game.

They did for valentines and white day though (that's how I got valentines Amore). Initially every new gacha unit is limited until aome months later is implemented to the default roster.

Guild events are pretty standard, on the first days you'll be beating a line of monsters that will increase their difficulty by everytime you beat the boss until the last day when you focus on dealing the most damage, you exchange the event unit with medals but I don't know how they'll handle this one.

Which R-18 should a beginner play? I have zero experience in Nutaku, DMM and gacha games in general.
I mean, there is one with more fair chances? Because I like the art style of many of them, so it's hard to decide.

If you want something that doesn't require a heavy time investment, I'd look at something like FKG. There are currently daily free rolls and a new system that has a chance of getting you free gold units every four hours, stored up to 6 (though you'd have a hard time without having good knights to increase your chance).

Aigis is usually the go-to recommendation for an actual game if you're okay with tower defense, but personally I feel like the game is really stingy and has become particularly pay-to-win in wanting you to have very specific units for endgame content.

MGCM is a nice game, but can be a little heavy on time investment depending on how many of the different quest types you're doing every day.

Artwhirl is also hyper casual. Dailies only take a few minutes and you can stockpile stamina since you get more on daily rollover instead of by the passage of time and there's no stamina cap.

Someone else will probably have more recommendations, but those are mine.

It's better to pick on theme of scene content rather than strictly artstyle. Gameplay and grind is usually the same for everything. Daily commitment too, but only after you get over the initial hurdle of getting teams leveled up.

If you want a consistent cast, Magicami and Deep One are easy recommendations, where the latter will include a non-penetration scene, and both have animated scenes for their highest rarity. Deep One is strictly MC-only and while MGCM tends to be, it has opportunity for "anything goes" too.

If you just want to collect scenes, games that have been around forever like Kamihime, Jewel Princess, or Flower Knight Girl all usually have a bunch of freebies for new players.

Most games based on large established franchises or old VNs still follow their original theme for the most part. The one that didn't closed down. Or you could prereg for one of these new games and hope they don't close within six months.

Also, if you're completely new to gacha games, you should try something that has an english version so you can figure out the basic bones of these types of games. But don't stay too attached, english localizations are destined for closure. Otherwise be observant and pay attention to the intro tutorial. Or just poke around, the worst thing you can possibly accidentally do is selling your units. Basic Japanese knowledge will go a long way.
