Why does your waking time matter at all if you're neet or hikki?

>> No.35847340

>>35847295
Because I live with roommates and they all get up in the day and wake me up multiple times etc.
I want to hear the birds chirping and welcome the sunrise.

I woke up at 11 PM. I keep staying up for 24 hours.

Dont worry, OP. 9:30 p.m or 6 a.m are like the same thing anyway.
If your sleep schedule is so fucked up that you wake up at 9:30 p.m, it will eventually get fucked up again and make you wake up at 6 a.m.

Anyway, why are you writing like a retard?

I've spent most of my life of NEETdom studying a lot of different things through online courses and self-study, and getting certifications for different stuff. It's a lot of fun at first if you like challenging problems and it gives you the opportunity to learn a broad range of topics. But like all things for NEETs, past a certain age it starts circling back into loneliness. I don't particularly regret spending most of my time studying, but the looming thought of "I wish there was somebody who was interested in me to share what I've been doing with" starts robbing more and more of your motivation.

I want to post in this thread, really I do. My thoughts are just mixed up right now.
At my age I feel like I've just barely done the things you should as a human, but I've also gone right back to this life.
Honestly because I'm a mixed bag. Sometimes I feel fine, most of the time I'm easily annoyed by other people. I try to be nice.
Woke up to an alarm at 9:30am just to check my portfolio, bought a few calls and passed out until 1pm. I'm up almost $50 so far but money doesn't feel important.
It isn't important until you want things, and I don't really want anything, used to not having much.
A childhood friend of mine is getting married this year, I'm happy for him but at the same time I want to brb to gensokyo. That's difficult to complete though, I would know.
So I'm here. At home with a parent, a sibling, and said sibling's child.
I wanted to get out of here by the time that kid was in kindergarden so it wouldn't see what kind of human I am, now it's almost in middleschool. Damn near raised it for the first 3 years and had to teach it not to call me dad.
Lately I've been thinking though, it isn't impossible for a person my age to go back to school. If I had an actual income for awhile I might be able to do something like get my own apartment with someone I talk to daily.
Because sooner or later, time will run out. The comfy option won't be here. I'll go back to drug abuse until I find an escape when that happens.

I enjoy this post but I also enjoy my insanity. Escapism is needed to keep those bad thoughts away.
>>35851619
>do not work at kfc
I refuse to work at any food or food service related place.
Last "job" I had was for a contractor and let me tell you it was a blast, I mean it. The moment I got there I worked my ass off right until the moment we all left..... and the boss never called me back.
Makes you think there might be something wrong with you when something like that happens.

I woke up at 8pm today... I know it doesn't really matter since I'm a NEET, but it feels like I get so much more done (anime, manga, and VNs) when I wake up in the morning instead of going to bed at that time.

How can one ever turn into a hikkineet and not expect it to end in roping?
People like this have some sort of mental illness that keeps them from processing consequences or having control of their actions.
Worst is that he writes as if it's some big advice from the wordly sage, so embarrassing.

coming close to ending some years of neeting and being forced to get back into working. not sure how true it holds for others but personally I get about as much time into freetime activities such as learning instruments or drawing while neeting as I do while wageslaving away.
its easy to think "I wish I had more free time I'd be able to spent so much time learning x", and while that might hold true for a weekend or week off it doesnt scale to years of neetdom.
the wall I keep running into is that when it really comes down to it I just have no energy to do a lot of things, be it after getting home from work or in another timeless void of a neetday.

I personally started NEETing to focus on art/game development without having to resort to commissions or strange Patreon tactics. It's pretty nice, I can work on whatever I want, can set my own deadlines, and don't have to talk to anyone or deal with people. "hikki = unproductive and lazy" is not necessarily true.
I don't know how you could do this without having some sort of interest, hobby, or dream and not kill yourself. Besides focusing on what actually makes me happy, a huge amount of the appeal to me is escaping monotony.

The NEET lifestyle isn't for everyone. Some people are just natural born NEETs. I don't recommend it to normalfags.
