Not much we can do other than being there for her streams. This is a hard dilemna where while Rin is a decent streamer, she has nothing to set her apart from many other vtubers. She has to try new things, take risks, seek niches that haven't been tapped. Maybe, less Minecraft.

Happy news! Rin is coming back on the 20th, same day as when her next cover song is premiering.

She is making every single mistake she possibly could... It's like she's got a playbook from a bunch of other failed YT channels.

When your views and sub numbers are decreasing you do NOT make a second channel. You're just splitting your discoverability, and all your metrics. On the off chance one of her MMDs is actually good or shareable it's on a channel with a few hundred subs instead of her main channel. It's insane to actually believe people will click the channel, go to highlighted channels, click her main channel and then sub off a random catchy MMD. Compounding that is moving most games to Twitch. So now she's spitting her already dismal numbers 3 ways. And then she's continuing to play Minecraft on YT which does not help her in any way. The only thing she could possibly do that would be even worse is start an extremely long LP and just barrel on to part 150 getting 3 views per upload. If she weren't primarily a live streamer I'm sure she'd already be on episode 79.

She should be trying a variety of new games and stream types to attract a wider audience, working on her thumbnails and titles to ensure that when the algorithm DOES show her to someone, they click, and securing actually good collabs, not Among Us and Minecraft. I only found her in the first place from collabing with Ahoge. It can work, but having her fall into the background of a bunch of people screaming and clipping their mics for 50 minutes is not the way to show new people your personality. Trying League of Legends was a good start, even though I hate LoL at least it was something different.

Yeah... I just read the follow up tweet, and while I wouldn't say it is the end, her yt channel isn't a priority anymore. She has completely slashed her content, leaving only Minecraft and Singing streams. Everything else is being moved to Twitch. Sad really, as by doing this she has settle with there not being much upward growth in the future. No more big jumps, like what happened with Uma Musume and Ark.

I've just got large drives in my workstation but I'm in the middle of a file storage cluster build. Chia coin fucked it up as I started building it out because drive prices skyrocketed but the pricing is finally starting to recover. For a simple solution if you are new to this stuff getting a simple off the shelf NAS would be a good idea. You can create a network shared folder that acts just like it was a hard drive inside your PC but can be accessed from any other PC on your network and more importantly can have redundancy built in so you don't lose data if your computer dies or one of the drives in the NAS dies.
