Perhaps you could give me some hints. Here's what I've tried in recent days:

Myjavbay has lots of HD content, but only from the past few years.
Sukebei has good results, but few seeders on older torrents.
Oppaitime has good stuff, but much is missing.
I've looked into the Chinese site sis001 and the Russian site pornolab. Neither have lots of HD content from before 2020.
Supjav has a few good HD links, but not many, and they require RapidGator.
Comments in Javlibrary tend to be SD, and many of them have watermarks.
The akiba-online forums seemed promising at first, but the torrent section is moribund and the direct downloads are mostly SD or expired.

I've also been growing my collection by buying titles on R18 and stripping them of their DRM, but this is expensive.

At the moment, I'm looking into 'depfile'. I'm told it was the way to go a few years back for what I'm after. I'm not sure this is still the case. One last point: many of the titles I'm after would fall under the "fetish" category, and so may not be as popular as the big name actress titles.
