I started playing Eight Views and I'm really liking cute little Maricha.
I've gotten it used to the toilet, but it's still too dumb to pass the bronze badge exam.
My only complaint is that the game feels really slow, does that change when you have more money/yus?

It depends. I imagine some of the more yukkuri youkai might not care, might like them, like Cirno or maybe even Reimu (so long as they don't foul up her shrine.) Rumia would probably love them, since she's pretty airheaded.

Most of them, however, would probably not like it, for a variety of reasons. The idea of what's essentially a talking steamed bun challenging them or the fact that they look like them, and their believers getting yukkuri versions of them rather than paying their spirits their due attention. I imagine youkai like Ran or the scarlet sisters, and definitely even a Human like Marisa, would go as far as kill them on sight.

It's because, as far as Touhou goes, Reimu and Marisa are the easiest to write for. Their motivations are simple, their lore is simple, and you're not stuck having to learn the long backstories and eccentricities of various characters in developing them. Like with most things, at some point you will "want more". There is very little creative room left for FF stuff as far as just cute pictures go. Adding in other aspects of life into yukkuri stories that aren't just about them taking it very easy makes these stories easier to steer into a direction not seen before for the hundredth time.
And, like I previously said, indeed, there are weirdos on OYP, and they have very old posts under abuse pictures that are downvoted to hell, are never interacted with in a positive way and are low-quality enough to cause second-hand embarassment.

What are Mishter Anons favourite easy Yukkuri?

I see a lot of images where people/other Yukkuri can casually pick up even full-sized adult Yukkuris. What gets me is that with these things are filled with various fillings like yakitori or red bean paste and stuff like that.

In a manjuu or even just simple bread, you can tell that the inner material is quite dense, and the bread itself is quite dense. If full-sized Yukkuris are supposed be as big as basketballs or volleyballs, and they all have the same dough exterior, inner filling with a dense paste core, and various accessories made of hardened sugar as well as hair made of similar material, all of which are very dense in a hardened form - wouldn't even koyukkuris be considerably heavy? There's no way an adult Yukkuri doesn't weigh the same as a small child, and most people would be hard-pressed to carry one for a long time with extended arms.

If you were to put it in a box that isn't properly made, it'll fall out the bottom the moment you pick it up from the counter. So, here's a final solution to the OYP problem. Many Yukkuri fans do not like abuse these days, to a much greater extent than was prevalent ten years ago. I second this. I had some friends give their darling baby wasu reimu's some nice "WR" custom sweaters to denote their unique status. They were such good Yuus and listened to every word, if were a bit too energetic. Still obedient, though.

I think it's just a genre convention. Because the genre started with Reimu and Marisa, usually the protagonists are a Reimu or Marisa and other types are there as side characters.

It's a shame because I want to see more stuff from the perspective of other types, especially stuff like Chen and Remilia that are used a lot as side characters but aren't generally the center of the story.

No, Wasa's are very proud and boastful Yuns. But they're not necessarily shitheads. There is a difference.

The relationship would be reciprocal, I do clean-clean for Wasa-chan and give her sweet-sweets (but only if she eats all of her Mister Food!) I also make sure that I do a good amount of rub-rubs and prepare her own easy Mister Food and easy place.

In-return, Wasa-chan goes on regular exercise walks, she undergoes badge-training (both for my benefit as well as hers), and provide me with a loving companion. Her training will allow her to perform clean-clean herself when I'm not around, but only I will perform clean-clean when I'm home!

Wasa-chan's can be very easy Yukkuri, if not a bit on the braggart side. But I love my Yukkuri, and if a hat I have to wear for her is to its clean-clean slave, then that's just how it has to be!

Take these three Yukkuri. Look at the Wasa - she has her characteristic pride and, as some may call it, arrogance. She has a clear spark behind her eyes, as she works tirelessly for the life she believes she deserves.

But what happens in nature is kind of irrelevant when it comes to wishing to raise something, isn't it? I doubt you have to particularly dedicated, but merely have to take the task seriously in raising a buri, since you're taking care of a an easy baby Yukkuri...who will always retain the mentality of an easy baby Yukkuri.

As for Wasa's, that's the point, isn't it? They may not be cut out for nature, and hell their line may be a direct result of Human intervention in creating an ideal pet Yukkuri.
