Tokyo has been sealed by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces due to a demon outbreak, and it will be seven days before the whole capital is wiped out. The protagonist, a 17 year-old high school student, is trapped with his two friends Atsuro Kihara and Yuzu Tanikawa within the city, and is forced to make contracts with demons by utilizing a peculiar device called a COMP to survive.

You got me at that part, but I would have thought a lot of the stuff in FE4 would have at least continued to other games like FE6,7, etc. (I know the wii and gc ones have skills). Skills I would have liked to see, being able to access arenas, units actually looking like they are having a battle, not being static and dodging by moving slightly to the left or something, weapons actually having different models (like the Legendary weapons, etc). Just a lot of stuff I'm surprised they didn't bring over (for the most part) to the other games.

Higurashi Kizuna 3, since it not only utilizes Dai's music, but it also features 2 new tracks he composed for the DS version (one of which is the most epic pieces of music to come from a "When they cry" game). Plus the adaptation of the manga only arc is epic.

Make no mistake, it is a cash cow. A lot of games are just shovelware designed to make a quick buck out of confused parents and casual players.
But the reason I quoted that is that even though it is a cash cow, it goes beyond that and offers not only good games, but good gameplay that uses the system properly.
If you ask me, it's worth getting one.

I'm a semi-nostalgiafag who thinks the SNES era was the best and my favorite games are 2D platformers and turn-based RPGs. That's why I like the DS the most of the current generation of game consoles: it has more of the types of games I want to play on it. If that makes me a kid at heart, I'm fine with that.
