You may as well start soon to grab some of the event-only ships before the event ends. The game is pretty complex if you get deep into it. But the wiki explains pretty much everything. If there's anything I'd recommend for new players it's that no ship is useless, everyone has their use. Except Souya, maybe.

E5-Z farming is pretty easy post-clear, the boss comp reverts to pre-LD but stays debuffed. You can do it with no support or strong FF, and even with 2 ships retreated you can A-rank the boss pretty easily.

Souya is the tankiest oiler in the game by a mile right now. She's not very useful for combat, but you'd rarely care about that in an event. I don't think we've needed an oiler in an event for a while now, but may as well be prepared I guess.

My full health Naganami once critted "only" for 500 on the boss with the 12.7 D kai 3 + Sex torp + GFC + the super lookout +8 while the night scout was active.
