Jparser and mecab writes the furigana up the kanji and doesn't translate automatically, you have to press each word to see the translation which I personally found helpful bc I didn't "cheat" that way and learnt unknown words and kanji. That was my way ofc and what helped me to learn. There's kanjitomo too.

It tries to parse grammar and breaks down sentences into words and grammar. Those are things you need to learn how to figure by yourself.

What was wrong with NTY? I didn't see much of an issue with it in regards to the writing compared to other VN's in general. MC was a bit annoying/juvenile, but it's the only BL game I could play where they were dominant/top. In my opinion, I have yet to play another BL game that tops it. If you guys have any other suggestions for eop's, feel free to suggest them.

My opinion is pretty similar to this. I enjoyed Haru as an MC because among the other BL game MCs I've experienced it was refreshing to have a proactive goofball of a guy who actually enjoys having sex with men, but he feels wasted in a game where half the love interests just treat him as an annoyance the whole way through. I also didn't feel like any of their stories had a satisfying end.

Speaking of edgy content, I wonder how EOPs will react to Tokyo Onmyoji's bad ends given how much they contrast with the regular tone of the game. With the N+C stuff they're used to you can see them coming from a mile away but with Onmyoji the game is fairly chill until shit like Rei getting murdered and desecrated on shrine grounds by his childhood friend.

I rated NTY 4/10 due to:
-Unlikabe MC and his dumb "twist", making him an embodiment of "I was just pretending to be stupid" meme. Haru wasn't charming or funny, all he did was getting dudes to sex him and doing some stupid shit in every ending. The only unique thing about him was topping.
-The writing was bloated and oftentimes uninteresting to read. I had to restrain myself from skipping after finishing first route.
-LIs weren't interesting or entartaining. For the game with non-con and torture their reaction to all of that was underwhelming. Personality-wise they didn't shine either.
-Repetitive sex scenes. Connected with my last point, none of them were memorable or emotional. Haru was fucking dead fish(outside of Hiro). For a borderline nukige, it was disappointing
-I think there was an attempt at plot but I honestly can't recall anything about it outside of MC's "twist".
So yeah, if the game didn't have good visuals, UI and some decent OST, would give it 1/10
