I'm not sure that her and Saki are gonna be in the game.

Marisa, Reimu, Kogasa, Yamame, Yuugi, Kanako and presumably the eagle gang boss is a lot. Okuu the nuclear power bird would make some sense for a game about Gensokyo striking oil, and maybe there's another newhu alongside eagle gang boss. That doesn't leave a lot of room for other characters.

I don't remember the tweet verbatim, but something about the story has me hyped for it. I hope it's good.

Manga is nice, but I'd like to see more long running non-h with newer or unloved characters.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, but it's kind of shit how few doujins there are of some characters, or if they do, they probably have a handful of good stories and the rest are either lost to time or require a fair amount of searching.
Honestly, I'd like a more youkai focused story since that would give way to some characters making an appearance. Being stuck in the overworld of Gensokyo doesn't help when you're rewriting stories and having someone like Youmu show up only because Reimu had a banquet, or Mamizou only making an appearance because a non human is living among humans in the human village.
Since Yachie is typically memed on as a yakuza, her stories could be a little more serious. It's not really something I see showing up in an official manga, but then again there's Tasofro, so who knows what they have in store in 17.5 if they want a good story or so they claim.

On a similar note, how come Kokoro and Kasen haven't been in a ZUN spinoff game yet? Kokoro missed ISC and VD, and Kasen skipped VD too. There's also John and Shawn but they're pretty new. Suika and Tenshi and even Iku keep getting in the photo games, but Kokoro's been waiting for eight years now.

Okina needs a bigger role and the shoeheads NEED to show up. They're some of the most important people in Gensokyo and merely starred in one of the most forgettable games, then Okina had a very small role in a manga and showed up in Violet Detector which was still basically nothing.
Honestly what really needs to happen is Okina show up in a fighting game and she can summon the shoeheads

I wish CDS would continue one day

I hope ZUN ignores all characters made after SA, he can give more focus to popular characters without all the clutter.
