IIRC each artist joins a "guild", and they create art for whatever subject that guild happens to be working.

They probably don't drama as much due to better organization and less exclusivity, as opposed to "mass dump all your ideas willy nilly and we'll choose a team out of the best". Also, most of our groups have a set and specified goal, while they work simply to contribute.
