Choice between INT and STR is purely based on what class you want. Tank any stat that is both not tied to your class abilities, and not tied to a saving throw.

Not in the way most people think however.
Wider on the hips, or muscular in some way, but not as big as the older generation.
They'd be larger than some of the people from 300 years ago no doubt.
