Ryukishi07: The secret of the character of Sayo is the core of Umineko’s story, so her inner workings and development were designed carefully and with the utmost complexity.

In the original version, in order to leave room for imagination for the reader to solve the mystery, I chose not to draw Sayo’s secrets in great detail (of course, it’s still possible to grasp, but I didn’t show things in a way where everyone would get it.)

With the manga version of Umineko, however, we considered the work to be a “period” to the “sentence” that is the world of Umineko.

Because of this, when I met with Natsumi-sensei [Kei Natsumi, the artist of the manga adaptation of Umineko’s eighth episode], I asked her to show all the secrets in a way that can easily be understood by anyone.

Thus, all of the episode of Sayo that appeared in the EP8 manga is the official answer to the world of Umineko.

By no means is the manga version a individual interpretation. It is an official answer from me, Ryukishi07.

This downplays Ryukishi's incredible genius. Not only did he create a many layered story but many of the characters within operate on many levels. The simple examples you give are one-dimensional representations of mythology or history. Ryukishi has true mastery of storytelling and can intertwine many layers of meaning to the characters.
Without doubt he is the greatest genius of our time.

There are theories, but that's all they are. It's been just "what's more likely to happen" based on things like the the case with H371 samples, K1 killing Rika in Nekodamashi and Satoko's overall status as a villain. Doesn't mean it's set on stone because that's the thing, it's distorted enough to be interpretecd in many different ways. Information is missing on why she's done things that way when plenty of people can come up with other solutions that get the intended effect.

The biggest issue in any of the Satoko culprit theories for that arc is Ooishi.
If he was not injected by Satoko (as R07 claimed) then he must have acted on his own due to memory leaks and other factors, which limits the possible targets Satoko could have chosen to only one person: Keiichi.

Watadamashi isn't even a violent end for him, he just bashes his head against a door and loses his consciousness. The manga doesn't show 340 stabbings in Onidamashi either, so I genuinely don't believe there's meaning on that.

About the Furude family and the Hinamizawa Syndrome. It was prophesized that Oyashiro-sama would reincarnate if the heir was a female 8 times in a row. While it could be just a coincidence you get a female heir 8 times in a row I don't think it was.
Just how the repercussions of the parasite was made into the curse of Oyashiro-sama, I believe the carrier queen's offspring's gender was also influenced by the parasite and made into a prophecy.
From a strategy point of view it makes sense why the parasite queen wants a female host. They have a much lower chance of dying from for example war since females are not conscripted. Likewise they tend to have less dangerous jobs/activities than men. If the colony (village) is taken over by a hostile force females also have a much lower chance of getting killed. They might be raped, but that is not a problem. Eventually they will all be infected and the queen will be once again be protected.
Of course, I would imagine if the previous carrier queen got another offspring it could have been a male since she has already passed on the queen parasite to her first born.
But the 8 female heirs in a row was not a dice roll, it was inevitable. The ancestors knew this, just like they knew you get fucked if you if you left the village, they knew the heir would be female and that is how the prophecy was made.
